It was June I believe and it was hot and muggy for this Texas weather we have here.
The foster care building did not have a/c it was really hot especially where we all slept and spent most of our time.
I was relaxing on my bed then the main lady came and said " Xavier someone is here to see you about adopting you"

"Omg Really?" I said as I got up from my bed and jumped off my bed and followed the lady

We got to her office and there was a man who looked about in his early twenty's sitting there.

"Xavier this is Mr. Lockwood" the lady said while pointing at The guy sitting.

"Hi" I said shyly

"Hey bud" he said

"So u thinking about adopting me?" I questioned

"I am adopting you Xavier you look so darn adorable" he said while he chuckled and rubbed my head which made me chuckle

"Mr Lockwood just come over here and Xavier go upstairs and pack your things and come back down when u finished packing" lady said

"Yes" I said and went upstairs and starting packing my things to go I didn't have much stuff to take with me.
I finished packing my suitcase and went downstairs
