Chapter 16: Find A Base

Everyone has met up in the center.

Connor: "Housekeeping?"

Everyone is simply dumbfounded at the size of the group that has joined up.

Alphonse: "So what're those guys doing going after a school?"

Jacob: "First off we'd better do introductions. Hi, I'm Jacob and that gay metal boy over there is Isaac the retard..."

Isaac: "Fuck off."

They begin introductions.

Meanwhile...

Horus: "Ospinn, what do you make of this?"

The man who was being taken to a top security facility is examining data recorded by the soldiers who were at the school with Horus.

Ospinn: "There is no doubt in my mind that there's a deeper connection between them and the Catalysts than compared to us and the Catalysts."

Horus: "They always seem to appear when the Catalyst is under attack. Is it some form of defense system in place subconsciously, or is it luck?"

The man wearing the lab coat has just entered the room.

Ospinn: "I thought that you were working on that virus with Austin and Aegis, Brim."

Dr. Brim: "I needed a breather and decided to see how you're doing."

Brim notices LeeAnn in the data.

Dr. Brim: "Guess that she got sent here too."

Horus: "Dozens were pulled in here."

The boy who was at one point a chimera enters.

Boy: "So we're going against a small army?"

Ospinn: "Damiax."

Horus: "A small army that can rival ours, maybe even surpass it."

Horus begins to think.

Damiax: "What's your plan?"

Horus: "I have an idea, but they're going to need to be separated for it to work."

Damiax: "You know that at some point we're going in."

Dr. Brim: "He's just waiting for the right moment."

Damiax exits with Brim.

Damiax: "I know, but I'm getting antsy."

The door closes.

Ospinn: "You'd better mobilize some troops."

Horus: "(smirking) I already did."

Meanwhile...

Eryth: "A god who created a god?!"

The knowledge has been dropped and introductions have been made.

Phillip: "That's exactly what I'd think, don't worry."

Randy is out of it again.

Owen: "So now what're we going to do?"

They can still see the smoke from the fires.

Bell: "That's the odd part."

Tori: "I mean, there isn't much we can do about having 19 people and a robot wandering the streets."

Jacob has an idea.

Jacob: "I've got an idea."

Max: "What dose of fucking stupidity do you have planned today?"

Jacob: "Isn't there an old storage facility not far from here?"

CJ: "Oh yeah!"

Rox: "(confused) What about it?"

Jeremy: "We can use it as a base of sorts."

Denton: "But what about me and the idiot?!"

Isaac: "Fuck you."

Dr. LeeAnn: "That's right. Getting Denton and Isaac to the base for meeting and such could be an issue."

Zack: "Can't anyone drive?"

Alexis: "I can."

BroBot: ":)."

Micheal: "Then we're set."

They begin to walk towards the exit.

Spencer: "What about school?"

Jacob gets a text from his dad.

Jacob: "School's out for a while. The government has a lot of stuff to fix."

Bryant: "Oh great."

They all head head for the room where the guys dropped off their stuff.

Meanwhile...

Horus: "(awkwardly) Now to deal with the charges."

Ospinn: "Such a shame my methods don't work here."
