Five minutes later...
Isaac: "Who was screaming like a fucking coward?"
Everyone has reunited at base.
Zack: "It was Alphonse."
Alphonse: "Ever had both of your arms dislocated?"
A lot of them are badly injured.
Lariat: "But what were those things?"
People like Jack and Rox are set against the wall.
Jason: "Can I get an explanation first?"
Everyone awkwardly notices the newcomers.
Alexis: "Explain then speculate."
They all begin yet another confusing monologue.
However...
Horus: "So that program is a bust."
Horus is currently tweaking Dimension Leap as an attendant informs Horus about the recent failure.
Horus: "Dismissed."
The attendant leaves.
Horus: "Now comes the tricky part."
Horus wipes some sweat away as Brim and Austin enter the room.
Austin: "How are your improvements coming along?"
Horus: "Not much longer."
Dr. Brim: "Then we'll get to kick their asses again soon?"
Horus: "There's a problem."
Austin: "Problem?"
Horus turns to face the two.
Horus: "They're coming straight to here."
Dr. Brim: "Say what now?"
Horus: "That ragtag force is going to set out towards us in four or five days."
Austin: "How do you know?"
Horus turns away.
Horus: "Just a hunch."
Meanwhile...
Xaena: "O-Okay."
Everything has been explain and speculation has begun.
Lucas: "Now time for us to question what happened to those soldiers."
James: "Actually, I've got the answer."
Jeremy and Jake have begun taking care of the injured.
Connor: "Like actually?"
James: "When I was locating the weakness, I discovered that their weak spot was a leak in energy signatures like a strange mix of ours."
Roy: "So super steroids?"
Randy: "Sounds about right."
Max: "Created by the blood of our enemies, probably."
Awkward moment of silence...
Edo: "You're not wrong."
Ike: "Probably."
Jacob and Kyle are beginning to crack.
Jacob: "(laughing) Please stop!"
Kyle: "(laughing) We don't need another running gag!"
BroBot: "XD."
Owen: "What was the first?"
Bryant and Tyler join in..
Tyler: "(laughing) Really?"
Bryant: "(laughing) Accept it you cowards!"
Soon, no one can contain the laughs.
Diane: "(laughing) Why are we laughing at something so stupid?"
Dominic: "(laughing) When was the last time any of us here had a good laugh?"
Jade: "(laughing) Probably forever ago!"
Sadly, the critically injured are unconscious.
Chloe: "(calming down) Okay, okay, deep breaths."
Everyone adjusts themselves to calm down.
Faith: "So what're we going to do?"
Dr. LeeAnn: "Finish our device."
Alphonse looks towards one of the buildings.
Yukiko: "Then you'll need to pick up the pace!"
Alphonse: "We're on it!"
The three mechanics enter the building.
Micheal: "Meanwhile, we'll probably-"
Shoma: "Please don't."
Awkward moment of silence...
Cereza: "I'll be somewhere."
Cereza heads for the shadow of another building.
Dawn: "Ready for round seventeen?"
Jay begins to crack his knuckles.
Jay: "You're on!"
Jake and Jeremy finish healing.
Jeremy: "I'll go watch."
Jeremy follows Jay and Dawn.
Jake: "I'll just watch some-"
Jacob: "-anime."
The anime fans follow Jake into a building.
Spencer: "So uh..."
The others have already gone elsewhere except Tori.
Tori: "Let's go do whatever."
The remaining try to find something to do...
