Chapter 89: Audrey

Risa, Yukiko, Robert, Cole, Jay, Cereza, BroBot, and Ike fight against the girl with the sapphire staff.

Cole: "So what's your name?"

Audrey: "I'm Audrey."

Cole: "Not a bad name."

A whirlpool begins to swirl behind her.

Audrey: "I just need to try to make this quick so Horus doesn't have to deal with those Catalysts alone."

The whirlpool takes the shape of a dragon behind Audrey.

BroBot: ">:(."

Risa: "This isn't going to be a quick fight."

Cereza changes to her fox form as a deep blue dragon stands behind Audrey.

Audrey: "I know it won't."

Ike begins creating mist.

Bell: "Then it's good to know that we're on the same page."

Robert: "Water and Ice will deal with her."

Ike, Cole, Robert, Risa, and Yukiko assume battle stances.

Yukiko: "That dragon is your jobs!"

Jay begins teleporting over.

Jay: "Don't get yourselves killed."

The others follow.

Audrey: "The only ones dying are those Catalysts."

Ike: "No, the only one dying is Horus himself!"

A tidal wave forms behind Audrey.

Audrey: "I'd like to see you try!"

Cole takes aim as Risa and Yukiko rush up to Audrey.

Robert: "We won't try, we will!"

The others stand before the dragon.

BroBot: ":(."

Cereza: "We can do this."

Jay points his revolver at the dragon's face.

Jay: "(sighing) This'll be over in minutes."

Jay fires a few bullets at the dragon, only for them to bounce off.

BroBot: "..."

Jay: "(awkwardly) Nevermind."

The dragon begins reaching for Cereza.

Cereza: "We've been fighting for how long and you didn't realize that nothing is easy?"

Cereza jumps out of the way.

BroBot: "!"

BroBot begins running from side to side out of panic.

Jay: "(sighing) We're going to have a lot more problems."

Audrey protects herself from ice with her water becoming frozen instead.

Bell: "Guess all we can do is prevent her from using her water to fight Risa and Yukiko."

Audrey is using her staff to defend from Risa and Yukiko's attacks.

Audrey: "You're splitting my attention so you can try and land some attacks on me."

The frozen wave gets taller and taller.

Risa: "It looks pretty effective."

Robert: "Because it is."

Ike slows down mist production.

Ike: "It's only a matter of time.

The dragon has landed quite a few attacks on Jay and is currently holding Cereza.

Jay: "(in pain) Well shit."

BroBot was left relatively undamaged.

BroBot: "!!!!"

Cereza: "(struggling) Let me go!"

Jay's injuries mainly focus on his legs and his rational thinking is starting to fall apart, causing him to forget about his quick step.

Jay: "(in pain) Give me a second..."

The dragon is about to crush Jay underneath it's claw and follow up with a tail slap, with Jay's legs unable to carry him away.

BroBot: "!"

BroBot knows that Jay will more than likely die against this attack.

BroBot: ":')."

BroBot rushes over and shoves Jay out of the way.

Jay: "(in pain) Hey!"

Stynax falls to the side unscathed as BroBot is crushed underneath the claw.

Cereza: "BroBot!"

The claw is lifted, revealing a pile of metal scraps on the ground.

Jay: "He... saved me."

Jay screws his head on straight.

Jay: "(darkly) Now it's time for some payback."

Jay uses his strength to get back on his feet.

Cereza: "BroBot..."

Jay: "Looks like I lost my head for a second."

Jay begins to quick step his way up the dragon.

Jay: "He won't have died in vain."

Jay's dagger float to his sides as Jay lands on the left shoulder.

Cereza: "Note to self, don't piss off Jay."

Jay sends all four daggers into a single eye before they burst out of the stomach just seconds later.

Jay: "I'm a hunter for a reason."

The pain causes the dragon to let go of Cereza and Jay to fall to the ground.

Jay: "(in pain) It'll be a bit before I'll do something like that again."

Risa and Yukiko are about to break Audrey's defenses.

Yukiko: "It's over!"

Risa and Yukiko prepare a final blow directed at the frozen wave.

Audrey: "For everyone."

The force of the punch sends Audrey crashing into the wave, causing the ice to crack.

Cole: "Uh oh..."

The wave begins to shatter into a sort of razor sharp hail, cutting the heroes to shreds.

Audrey: "See?"

Everyone takes some stinging damage from the shattering.

Ike: "(in pain) I can keep going..."
