Chapter 80: Not Worthy

Kurtis, Lillian, and Zion: "We've been expecting you."

CJ's team enters the room as it begins to close.

Diane: "Glad to hear it."

Randy summons Rain.

Randy: "So how do you want to do this, the hard way or the hard way?"

The enemies prepares for battle.

CJ: "I'd say they're going with the hard way."

Rain: "Are you seriously making jokes at a time like this?"

Alphonse: "I'd just accept it."

Time is beginning to alter.

Zion: "But why not just accept the fact that you can't beat all 3 of us as once."

Sid readies his shurikens.

Sid: "I don't think there are any facts here to accept."

Spikes form around Kurtis.

Kurtis: "Are you sure?'

Rose: "We're pretty sure."

CJ chooses to cancel out the time jumping.

CJ: "Do you honestly believe that we're not?"

Lillian proceeds to dodge any attacks being thrown at her while Zion gets behind Kurtis's defenses.

Alphonse: "You can't hide forever!"

A dust storm begins to swirl as the spikes makes their way towards Sid and Diane.

Lillian: "(in head) Like CJ and the truth?"

A navy blue blast of energy heads for Rose as Sid and Diane dodge.

Diane: "There's nothing we can't beat!"

CJ: "(dramatically) Because I am here!"

Moment of silence...

Zion: "Whatever helps you sleep at night."

Kurtis: "(in head) Permanently."

CJ goes on the offensive with his navy blue energy, rendering Kurtis useless.

Alphonse: "We've got to make it fast!"

Time is beginning to alter again.

CJ: "Die bitch!"

CJ fires away at Kurtis as the room begins to decay with age.

Rose: "I'm pretty sure that you hid a joke in there."

CJ: "I did."

Kurtis and Zion are running for their lives, avoiding the attacks as Sid, Randy, and Rain get close.

Randy: "Can you get them in place Alphonse?"

The storm settles as roots begin to sprout from the ground.

Alphonse: "I can try at least!"

Lillian pushes the two away from the roots and dodges away from them herself.

Lillian: "You won't win."

Diane is trying to reach for Zion, but he's just too far away from her.

Diane: "Hold still!"

They're returning to their original point in time.

Rain: "This cancelling out is getting ridiculous!"

The enemies look towards each other before nodding.

Kurtis: "Like CJ and his real feelings?"

Fighting is halted.
