Chapter 83: Nothing Defines Me

Damiax: "(cracking knuckles) So you Metama have finally showed up."

Bryant and the Metama step through their door as it begins to close.

Cereza: "The genocidal Transi."

Damiax: "(shrugging) What can I say?"

Dante: "Why did you do it?!"

Damiax's expression changes for a moment.

Damiax: "I... can't."

Bryant: "Doesn't matter, we're going to, 'oof,' you into oblivion."

Dante and Cereza change into wolf and fox forms.

Damiax: "You think I'm scared?"

Damiax's hands change into coyote claws.

Dante: "Not at all."

Bryant develops the tail of a snake.

Bryant: "What honestly made you think that?"

Damiax has the wings of a bat.

Damiax: "I just thought you tried intimidation."

Cereza: "But that's showing mercy to someone like you."

Damiax develops a snake tail as well.

Damiax: "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Damiax lunges towards Bryant, with him grabbing Damiax's claws.

Bryant: "(struggling) And here I was hoping to be in and out like a movie."

Dante and Cereza head bash Damiax away from Bryant.

Dante: "Stay focused!"

Damiax develops the body of a rhino.

Bryant: "Okay."

Cereza: "(awkwardly) You really don't sound like it."

Damiax rushes towards Dante.

Damiax: "You know I didn't have to save your life."

Dante leaps out of the way.

Dante: "Then why did you?"

Damiax: "I needed someone to open the path to the heart."

Cereza: "So you tried using Dante to get to me."

Cereza and Dante take to the skies as Bryant digs his claws into Damiax's back.

Damiax: "(in head) Now I just need to wait a little bit longer before I pull out the trump card."

Damiax shakes Bryant off.

Bryant: "At least I did a little damage."

Bryant looks a little disappointed.

Bryant: "(disappointedly) I can't make the reference."

The two siblings dive towards Damiax.

Cereza: "Focus!"

Damiax: "(in head) He's starting to lose focus."

The two siblings return to wolf and fox forms and dig their claws into Damiax's neck like Bryant did before.

Dante: "You're going down Damiax!"

Damiax shakes them off as well.

Damiax: "I'd say it's the other way around."

Damiax pins Bryant down while Bryant is distracted by the fact that he couldn't make a joke.
