Chapter 93: Sebastian Horus

The Catalysts step onto the platform, with Horus awaiting them.

Isaac: "Sup bitch."

Jacob: "Now you're just burning a joke's corpse."

Horus: "So did my information do nothing?"

Everyone equips their gear, Jacob with his claymore, and Denton as his tank. Some of them like CJ and Bryant, and Phillip show permanent changes.

Max: "What does it look like fucker?!"

Horus's clothes turn silver.

Horus: "Like a bunch of children who hide from the truth."

CJ: "(in head) He really doesn't know!"

Horus: "My own Catalyst powers allow me to fight like a human, but with the strength of a dragon!"

Horus takes a step forward, leaving a footprint in the floor.

Spencer: "While our powers allow us to kick your ass."

Another step is taken.

Horus: "(smirking) You've got some wit."

The third step makes a small crater in the floor.

Bryant: "Let's get going!"

Bryant develops coyote claws.

Phillip: "You don't have to tell me twice!"

Bryant and Phillip lunge forward for a single strike each, but Horus catches the two by their fists.

Horus: "I've been pushing my limits nonstop for weeks."

Horus tosses the two to the sides, with them quickly gathering their footing.

Jacob: "Yeah you're talking to the experts here."

Jacob and Max get their weapons ready.

Horus: "The experts or the one pushing his limitations? Who is the real victor here?"

Jacob and Max leap into the air before landing some deep cuts on Horus's shoulders.

Max: "It's eight against one."

Spencer: "Guillotine Wave!"

Spencer fires a Guillotine Wave as Isaac fires several shots just behind it.

Isaac: "I'd say we're going to kick your ass."

Horus dodges Spencer's attack, but gets hit by Isaac's shots in the back.

Horus: "I'm built like stone."

Horus dashes behind CJ.

CJ: "(struggling) Come on!"

Denton: "CJ!"

Denton aims his frost cannon.

Horus: "Try and beat me with your friend being held hostage."

CJ: "(struggling) Hostage?"

Phillip comes out of a left field and lands a punch right in Horus's back, causing him to let go of CJ.

Phillip: "I think you mean that you're forever alone."

Bryant has taken Horus into the air.

Bryant: "Denton!"

Bryant throws Horus towards Denton.

Horus: "Not bad."

Denton: "Fire!"

Denton fires a chunk of ice at Horus.

Horus: "Did they already forget?"

Direct hit.

Spencer: "Nice one!"

However, Horus emerges unscathed.

Denton: "Are you freaking kidding me?!"

Horus lands on the ground, creating a small crater.

Horus: "Your teamwork isn't the worst, but..."

Max: "But?"

They notice how the others are stuck in some sticky situations.

CJ: "Well this is just great."

CJ draws his blades.

Horus: "My Creations and yours are at a standstill."

Max sends some fire towards Horus, with Horus unaffected.

Max: "How?!"

Denton changes to his mage form as Jacob draws twin blades.

Horus: "They know every single thing about your Creations."

Denton propels Jacob forward with wind, but Horus catches both blades.

Bryant: "Oof."

Bryant rushes towards Horus from behind, but Horus kicks him away.

Spencer: "So you're durable, yet powerful."

Everyone separates and regroup a ways away from Horus.

The platform below lights up.

Jacob: "Now what?"

CJ sends his hornets towards Horus, but they just bounce off of him.

Horus: "Did you ever question why the platform was even here?"

Eight streams of light connected to the eight previous rooms begins to flow into the platform and below Horus.

Isaac: "Did those rooms serve another purpose?"

The light begins pulsing into Horus.

Horus: "I was draining some of your energy while you were fighting."

Denton: "That explains why you separated us."

Phillip: "So the energies wouldn't get messed with until they get injected into you."

Horus: "Cor-"

Horus begins to shriek in pain as the energy finishes being pumped into his system.

Horus: "(shrieking) TOO MUCH!!!!"

Parts of Horus's flesh rips open, revealing the energy within.

CJ: "He REALLY fucked up!"

The energy gives off multi-colored particles from the wounds as the pain dies down.

Horus: "Power..."

Horus's eyes glow with energy.

Horus: "... IT'S ALL MINE!!!!"

Horus begins to laugh as the heroes look utterly disappointed.

Isaac: "Bitch, you think that's power?"

Horus: "YES, YES, YES!!!!"

Everyone haphazardly looks towards each other.

Jacob: "You guys ready to take off the kiddie gloves?"

Max: "(cracking knuckles) This is going to feel SO satisfying."

Horus: "(in head) What are they planning?"

Horus begins to question what the heroes are talking about...
