Chapter 65: Make the Jump

Dawn: "So what're you guys doing?"

Sid's team, the final team, have arrived on their ship that's loaded with 50 minigun soldiers.

Randy: "I'd say they're extremely confused."

Randy summons Quill.

Soldiers: "It ends here."

Mist forms around Ike.

Ike: "It isn't over until we reach the end."

James slips on his headphones before summoning his pistols.

James: "So I'd say that it would be best to give up."

Dante changes to a wolf.

Yukiko: "So how do you guys want to handle this?"

Dante: "(growling) As fast as possible."

Spencer: "I like the sounds of that."

CJ has spikes form around his feet.

CJ: "Let's do this in style."

Randy takes to the skies as Sid summons a hammer.

Sid: "That's how we'll finish it!"

Risa has water swirl around her fists.

Risa: "Let's go."

Ashley begins to dodge like crazy.

Ashley: "(sighing) Why am I stuck with you guys?"

Bullets begin to fly more wildly.

Quill: "You want an answer?"

Ashley: "Nope."

Risa and Yukiko are using water to protect themselves from the onslaught.

Risa: "Hey, did you all forget that we're in a fight?"

The spikes are protecting CJ.

CJ: "Of course not."

Ike's ice is protecting him as well.

Bell: "Who do you think we are?"

Dante takes a bullet to his paw before getting behind Ike's barrier.

Dante: "(in pain) These things never get less painful huh?"

Ike: "I'd have to agree."

James and Sid are decimating through the bullets.

James: "(focusing on beat) They're about to enter cool down."

The guns overheat.

Sid: "Now!"

Spencer: "Focus Wave!"

Three soldiers are caught dead in Spencer's attack.

James: "See ya."

James lands four head shots.

Soldiers: "We didn't have the time to split up into our designated divisions..."

Dante rushes up to a soldier before bashing the soldier's skull in with his own.

Yukiko: "Then that means we were more prepared than you anticipated."

Yukiko and Risa punch two heads together.

Dawn: "When are you guys coming down?"

Quill swoops down, picks up a soldier by the shoulders, then drops him into the ocean.

Randy: "Now?"

The soldiers are back in action, but the heroes are vulnerable.

Bell: "(awkwardly) Shit."

Bullets begin to fly again.

CJ: "Get back!"

People like Randy and Dante can't get to a safe area in time, and thus get pummeled by bullets.

Ashley: "Dammit!"

The total soldiers remaining is 39.

Spencer: "(defending) I think we've gotta do it Dawn."

Sid: "You won't be able to keep it up long enough with this many!"

The spikes skewer four soldiers from below.

CJ: "Randy!"

Luckily, Quill had defended Randy from a majority of the bullets.

Randy: "I'm switching over to Silver!"

Randy returns Quill as the bullets make their way to him.

Bell: "Ike!"

Ike surrounds Randy in ice.

Randy: "(relieved) Thanks Ike."

Randy manages to summon Silver.

Silver: "Planning something?"

The black aura forms.

CJ: "It's obvious that we're planning something."

CJ hurries over to Randy and Silver as the aura glows bright when he summons the hornets.

CJ, Randy, and Silver: "Synergy Attack, Summoner's Rift!"

The hornets begin to decimate half of the remaining soldiers before Silver and Randy rush in to finish the job.

Risa: "Do it now!"

Dante changes back.

Spencer: "Hellfire Wave!"

Everyone remaining is teleported into a realm where only the setting sun resides.

Soldiers: "H-Huh?!"

Spencer/ Dawn: "Synergy Attack, Twin Revolution!"

The soldiers begin to feel as though they're being ripped apart from the inside out.

Dawn: "Sorry we had to do it to you."

The soldiers drop dead mysteriously before they return to reality, only to arrive at the actual setting sun.

James: "Looks like that took a bit."

They all pull out their buttons.

Dante: "And a lot of blood."

They all push them before vanishing...
