Chapter.11 The Comfort In Her Lap Was Heavenly

We both looked at each other, then at Ela, who looked with indifference, at the scene.

"Ela came to just accompany me, since I took half day off. Why are you here?" I asked.

"Just came to get something" she said.

"Then come on in" I said standing up as she was not moving.

"I - i just came to-" she looked at me and stopped "how you are? You were stressed, when you talked with me earlier" she said.

I smiled, she always keeps worrying about me, but iam not that weak, that she have to babysit me everytime I breakdown.

"Iam fine Emmy, don't worry. Now go and do your job, don't stress yourself about me now, Ela is here. I am not a baby anymore." I said, trying to coax her that I will be fine alone.

Emmy nodded and went away real fast, before I can even say for her to take that something, which she came for.

I took the towel off my neck, which I used to dry my hair, and hanged it to dry.

I went back and took my seat back.

"She really loves you so much, doesn't she." Ela said.

"Yes, she loves me like a brother. We are there for each other a long time" I said.

"Really?" She raised a eyebrow.

I don't know what she meant by that, so I just ignored her expression.

As I relaxed in to my seat, and changed channels, I was not able to find even a one good program. Atlast, I fixed on some program showing about aquatic life. Atleast a fascinating one.

"Iam sorry Leo" I heard Ela apologising.

"Why are you saying sorry?" I asked surprised.

"I shouldn't have talked earlier like that. It was not your fault. I just talked like that in anger. Sorry, that it hurted you" she said not looking at me.

"It is not your fault, and neither did you hurt me. It was another thing that is hurting me." I said.

"What is that? " she asked.

"Please, I can't tell you anything now, and don't give that phone back to me." I said looking at her pocket.

Ela looked confused, but nodded to me. She seemed helpless not not knowing how to comfort me.

I felt guilty. She doesn't need to feel bad for something she doesn't even know.

"I want to sleep here. Do you still want to be here? I mean you.... you will have nothing to see here, but be bored" I said.

"No" she shook her head "take rest here Leo, i will stay here. I will go, if i can't stay here" she said.

I leaned my back in the long couch and folded my hands to rest.

"Go and sleep in your bedroom Leo" she said.

"No, i just want a small nap" to clear my mind.

Maybe it is funny of me to leave my house in a stranger's hand, but Ela is no stranger to me, I feel no harm from her. Strangely, i felt like, i can confine anything about me to her.

And then with my brain, in jumble, I slowly fell asleep.

'No don't, no please, iam sorry' i pleaded Rachel. But she kept cutting my wrist again and again.

' you are the one that made me like this, this is your fault, you have to pay for it with your blood' she said licking my blood from her finger, which she paced on my bleeding wrist.
