Chapter 28 I Want A Real Kiss

It's been a week, since I saw Ela after coming back from India.

We both call each other just to talk. But I miss her presence beside me. I can't seem to forget about her for a few minutes.

She was always in my thoughts.

I don't like this one bit. It was worse than that one week where Ela did not call me even.

Then I was a little upset. I was reluctant to agree even to myself that I want or even miss her.

But now I can say this. I miss her so much. It was hard to go on with my daily life.

And say to my shyness, I miss her good night kisses too.

It's not like we both are seeing who will visit who first, but since we went for the marriage taking leave, Ela has so many businesses to take care of, since Jack was still in India. And I have my own job to take care of.

We both don't have time to see each other. And it was affecting me.

I felt like a child, wanting to see his favourite toy again.

It will be the weekend tomorrow. And I was hoping for Ela to come.

As I got ready for bed, I waited for the call.

"Hello Ela" I responded eagerly.

"Leo, I am thinking of taking Seth and Kent on a little outing. You have to come" she said.

I smiled "Why are you so adamant on taking them out?"

"Because they have been eating my brain since that day," she said.

"That means you have been talking with them since then," I said.

She just hummed.

"Those devils, they may not even talk to me just after one meeting" I said.

"No, they love you to ask you too much. But me, they seem to have thought of me as some billionaire. They are calling me everytime to ask for an outing." She said.

"Don't worry, I will teach them some manners," I said.

"No, it's ok, just get ready now, don't worry about your office work, I have already told Max and your company CEO. We are going." she said.

"Wait! What? Now" I exclaimed.

"Yes, right now. You will get a call from the orphanage, give your details so they can allow my Nanna permission to take them out from there. They will believe you." she said back.

"Me? I mean why so sudden. How? Where?" I wasn't able to ask more.

I hear her sighing "Leo, stop asking questions, and get packed right now. I will be there in an hour." She said and cut the call.

"What?!" I exclaimed to no one.

She just cut off the call like that, just like that!

I fumed. She needs to know to show me some respect.

I got ready fast.

And when the orphanage manager, who I know very much, called me, I let him know that the teens will be safe with me. They have my word.

He agreed with the trust in me.

As I waited, I heard the sound of car. I went out with my laugages I ignored Ela and turned to lock my house.

Ela took my luggage and placed it in the car.

I ignored her and got in the car. Ela looked at me and seemed to get that I was angry.
