Zen's POV:
"Mask!" She turned towards my front, "What's the status of the mission?"
"The Octo shower has already invaded and is ready to start firing. All inklings in pursuit will die. We are to round up as many hostages as possible and look for agents 2 and 4. Leave 4 dead or alive, but for agent 2 bring her to me!"
"Permission to ask something ma'am?"
"Permission granted!"
"Can we go after Marina; The living traitor."
"Marina..." Mask looked at my eyes, "I've never met her, but show the girl no mercy. Kill her!"
"Roger!"
"Good!" Mask turned into squid form, "Meet me after your quota is filled." She squid-jumped away.
I quickly checked to see that no one else was around and I called for Rose. It was hard getting used to calling Purple 9 by her real name, but it showed our friendship.
"Who's the freak lady?"
"Her name is Mask, she's new!"
"Sheesh!" Her disgust was real, "And the fact that she isn't assigned any codename makes her a big shot? I don't think so!"
"It's not you living with her. I hate her as much as you do."
"Ok cool, but what do we do now. My unit is to go later but you snuck me with you. What are you planning?"
"We need to get to Marina!"
"Agreed."
"Follow my lead."
"Do you know where to go?"
"Of course. I hate to say it but our rank ransacked Purple 8's quarters to get her map of inkopolis. Remember, she works in secrecy in this area."
"Those bastards!"
My hand patted her shoulder, "Hey, just keep cool and let's get Marina!"
Rose smiled, "Yeah!"
We squid-jumped away.
