Nakaupo na silang dalawa noong may umupo sa harapan nilang upuan.
"Chase?" tanong agad ni Ara noong inangat niya ang ulo para makita sino ang nakaupo sa upuang nasa harap nila.
"Good afternoon, sorry I'm a little late, I'm Chase Natividad, Theodore Bartolomeo sent me here since he's not doing well at the moment, I assume you're his good friend's daughter?" halata sa tono ni Chase ang pagka-professional that's why ganun din ang naging tugon ni Ara.
"Good afternoon, yes I am, Dra. Ara Saavedra. Actually, I'll just be managing fully for a week, my twin, she was the one who talked to Mr. Bartolomeo," Ara said whole shaking hands with Chase.
"Shall we order?" tanong ni Chase.
"Yes sure," anito.
"So, while waiting for the food, shall we talk about the renovation?" tanong agad ni Ara, ito naman ang pinunta niya dito.
"Yes of course,"
"So, papa wants the building to have the same feel, bit bigger, to have that main building feel, because he cannot just travel to Vancouver, napagdesisyunan niya na dito na sa Pilipinas ang main building ng kanyang company," Ara explains.
"I see, so he wants to keep the past... designs?" Chase said in a tone that Ara can't pinpoint.
"Yes, courtesy of him it is what makes it his company, the same feeling," Ara said.
"Okay I can fix that, anything else to add? Like a new floor? Doors?" Chase said, while he was writing something.
"He bought the land at the back, and he said he wants to extend the building's width," ani Ara.
"I see, is that the only renovations Tito Eduardo wants?" tanong ni Chase.
"Yes," tipid na sagot ni Ara.
"Okay, lets talk about the construction, how it will be managed as I will be fully facilitating—"
"Mommy!!" sigaw ni Winona na ikinatigil ni Chase sa pagsasalita.
"I'm sorry, yes Winona?"
"I'm bored, let's please go to lolo?" anito.
"Yes we'll go there after this, please play na lang muna?"
"Ok po..." Winona says in defeat.
"I'm sorry about that, please continue?" Ara said.
"Yes, as I was saying, the construction..."
Pagkatapos ng pinagusapan nila ni Chase, they kept it casually until the very end.
"So, it's settled then? Construction will start first thing tomorrow," anito.
"Yes of course, thank you," ani Ara na akmang tatayo na.
"Lets go Winona?" ani Ara sa pamangkin.
"Yey finally! Babye Mister!" paalam pa nito kay Chase na marahan namang ngiti ang sagot sakanya.
Paglabas ni Ara at Winona sa restaurant tumawag ang tatay ni Winona, si Zane.
"Hello Ara? I was just going to check on Winona, may pinuntahan pa kasi si Yra," anito pagsagot ni Ara ng telepono, it was a call through the internet kaya agad binuksan ni Ara ang data niya bago inabot sa pamangkin
"Chammy, it's your dad he wants to talk to you," ani Ara.
Bigla namang numingning ang mga mata ni Winona at mabilis na kinuha mula kay Ara ang cellphone.
"Hello daddy? Yes po!.. we'll go to lolo na! Yes daddy I'll take care! Okie! Babye" masiglang pagusap nito sa ama bago patayin ang tawag.
"Lets go na?" ani Ara sa bata pagkatapos itago ang telepono sa bag at tinanguan naman siya ng bata.
