"Hi, uhm, is Ara Saavedra here?," tanong niya sa isang nurse na lumbas mula sa emergency room.

"Ah yes po, she's busy with a patient," sagot naman ng nurse.

"Can you please call her? I badly need to talk to her," ani Chase, halos nagmamakaawa ang tono.

Mukhang napatigil naman saglit ang nurse pero kalauna'y ngumiti at tumango bago pumasok sa emergency room.

He was a little paranoid kaya hindi niya na namalayan na palakad-lakad siya sa isang linya ng paulit-ulit.

"I don't really have time because I have important things to do so talk," ani Ara na ngayo'y nasa harap niya na, kaya napatigil naman siya sa paglalakad, she looked tired.

"I-I'm sorry, sa mga nalaman mo," Chase said before looking down, he can't face her.

"Is that all? Kasi you just wasted my time," Ara firmly says.

"N-no, it's my fault, I didn't thought about things thoroughly, at hindi ko agad sinabi sayo, but it's true, it was for revenge, at first," Chase looked at Ara before continuing, he saw pain in Ara's eyes, he can't bear seeing the girl he loves going through this.

"But, I fell more, ang hirap na hindi ka mahalin, my grandmother wrote me a letter the day they died, nahanap ko iyon noong pinaayos ko na ang dating bahay namin sa Espanya, she said that it was about time and she was happy na sabay sila, they assured me that it wasn't my fault and I should not regret anything I do, they also said that they were happy in my car until the last minute," Chase explains.

"Chase, nagsinungaling ka sakin, alam mo ang nangyari satin noong nakaraan, hindi din naman ito madali sa akin, please just.. give me time, I have more things to do," Ara said, tears were slowly visible.

"Doc Ara! Di po makahinga si Charm!," sigaw ng isang nurse, Ara quickly ran to the emergency room again.

Walang ibang nagawa si Chase kundi tumingin kay Ara.

He can't help but blame himself, this is all his fault, Ara is going through a lot at the same time, he's sure that she doesn't deserve this.

"I hate myself for this," he whispers to himself.

He calmed himself for a quick second before collecting his thoughts to do what he should.

Right, si Sunny.

Kahit na gusto niya pang makausap si Ara ay wala naman na siyang magagawa kaya naglakad na lamang siya papunta sa elevator at pinindot ang floor level kung nasaan ang room na tinext sakanya kanina.

Chase is mad right now, but he can still think rationally. He hopes.

"Charm, kapit lang ha? Ayos ka lang ba?," Ara assuring her while caressing her hair, she was holding back the tears brought by pain. Ang dami daming nangyayari ngayon.

"O-opo, mahirap— hinga—" nihindi niya matapos ang sasabihin dahil 'di ito makahinga ng maayos, tumawag naman si Ara ng nurse upang bigyan ng pansamantalang lunas si Charm habang nag-iisip pa sila ng mga paraan.

Pinuntahan naman muna ni Ara ang mga guardian ni Charm.

"D-doc, kamusta po si Charm?," mugto ang mata ng ina ni Charm habang yakap naman siya ng asawa nito, may mga kaunting hikbi na pinipigilan.

"Nahihirapan parin siyang huminga paminsan-minsan, pero binibigyan namin ng drops para mastabilize ang pag gana ng puso niya, there's still no compatible donor at the moment dahil dapat kasya ito sa baga ni Charm," Ara explains in the most easiest and understandable way she can.
