Chapter 49

Ara forgot that she didn't bring her car, right, hinatid pala siya ni Chase.

Minasahe niya ang kanyang sentido, nag-iisip ng paraan kung paano uuwi, 'di na rin naman siya makaisip ng maayos dahil natatangay na siya ng sakit ng ulo dulot ng antok.

She was holding her phone in her other hand so she opened it hoping to find the answers to her problem at the moment.

She found her twin's name in her contacts.

She called her right away.

"Ara?," sagot agad ng kapatid niya sa telepono.

"Are you here?," tanong ni Ara sa kambal, sanay na kasi itong magulat na nasa ibang lugar o bansa nanaman ito.

"Yes, I'm in our house, bakit?," tanong ulit ni Yra.

"Puwede mo ba ang sunduin sa hospital?," Ara asks.

"Okay, I won't ask why, but tell me when we're on our way home," ani Yra sa kambal.

"Okay, thanks," ani Ara bago patayin ang kanyang telepono.

She was waiting for her sister, and while doing so she checked her phone and saw her notifications.

Her headache still evident, she read the messages.

Hindi niya alam paano ito sosolusyonan, pero oo, gusto niyang kausapin si Chase, marinig ano ang gusto niyang sabihin, kasi hindi naman mawawala ang pagmamahal sa isang araw lang, o kahit sa isang pagkakamali.

But there's still fear and nervousness inside her heart, na baka maulit, may malaman siyang masakit o mauulit nanaman ang nangyari noon.

She sighed deeply.

Before seeing her sister's text.

Lumabas na si Ara mula sa gusali at nakita ang sasakyan ng kanyang kapatid.

Nakita niya itong naka oversized shirt lang at itim na leggings.

"Buti naiwan ko si Winona sa tatay niya, come on inside, and talk, agad," ani Yra, looking straight to the road while the car moves forward.

Ara sighed yet again before telling what happened.

"Ara," tawag ni Yra sakanya ng kapatid pagkatapos niyang magkwento.

"What?,"

"Hindi ka ba napapagod?," tanong ni Yra.

"Saan?," tanong pabalik ni Ara.

"Sa sitwasyon mo, it's like things are repeating over and over again, and still with the same person, I'm not with or against Chase, because I'm siding with you, please, please think thoroughly," Ara's sister advices her.

Ara left out a heavy sigh before slightly nodding, when she gets home she's gonna think about this mess thoroughly once and for all.

She eases her mind first during the car ride, it was quiet but the atmosphere wasn't heavy nor awkward, siguro nararamdaman ng kanyang kambal na kailangan niya ng pahinga.

"We're here," bumalik si Ara sa kanyang huwisyo sa sinabi ng kanyang kambal.

"Thank you, and yes I'll think about all of this," ani Ara bago umalis sa sasakyan.

Paglabas niya dito ay ibinaba ng kanyang kambal ang salamin ng sasakyan.

"Rest, okay? Don't be too hard on yourself, let things be. I got your back always," anito which made Ara smile, they might not have been together since birth not met each other in right terms, but nothing can ever change their bond and love for each other, especially in times that they were the only ones who were there for each other.
