Kabanata XXI

Pasado alas dies na kami bumalik sa loob ng resort. Lahat ng naging bahagi ng event ay dito magpapalipas ng gabi. Tumungo kami sa lobby at nakitang andoon lahat ng miyembro ng banda pati na sila Rose, Luigi at Elise.

Different reactions were plastered on their face. My two bestfriends are whispering to each other as if they are talking about some big rumour. Gray looks amused, Elise was smiling, Sebastian was smirking while Tyler was wearing .... his usual reaction.

Ramdam kong nasa likod ko si Nate. I don't know what to react or say as of the moment.

"I'll just ask Elise where her relatives are staying for tonight." He leaned and whispered through my right ear. I just nodded.

Patungo pa lamang si Elise ay hinangaran agad siya ni Rose. Nakapwesto siya na para bang siya ang taya sa patintero. I can't help but chuckle at her reaction when she finds out that they're cousins.

"Hep! Ano? Pagkatapos kay Carrie, eto naman? Tas pag nagsawa ka? Doon ulit? At saan kayo galing?!" Pinandilatan niya ng mata si Nate. Nagmumukha tuloy siyang baliw despite of her stunning outfit.

Nakita kong nagkamot ng ulo si Elise. Gulat pa rin ako sa inakto niya kanina. I didn't know that she has that kind of attitude. I'm starting to conclude that she's Rose's long lost sister.

Hinawi ni Elise ang kamay ni Rose na nakaharang sakanya. Aakmang lalagpasan siya ni Elise nang hilain niya ang braso neto.

"Primrose. Let go of her." Natigilan si Rose sa sinabi ko. She's wearing his exaggerated shocked reaction. Umiling lamang ako sa reaksyon niya.

"Naririnig mo ba ang sinasabi mo Caroline?" tugon niya. Magsasalita pa lamang ako nang naunahan na ako ni Elise.

"I don't do incest. Nathaniel is a relative. Could you please let go of my hand?"

"What?! Putang—"

"Language, Primrose." Sebastian's voice boomed through the lobby. Rose just glared at Basti's direction. Naghalukipkip lamang ako sa nangyari.

"Chill y'all. We're here to have fun." Gray stated while letting out a sigh. Rose finally let go of Elise's arms. Pagkatapos noon ay hinayaan ko na silang magusap si Nate.

The night went out well. Umalis agad si Elise nang magkausap sila ni Nate. Prim and Luigi went skinny dipping while the band decided to drink liquor. Pero heto kami ngayon ni Nate, ihahatid na ako sa kwarto dahil ramdam ko ang pagod galing sa rehearsal at performance maghapon.

Nakarating kami sa front door ng kwarto nang walang nagsasalita. This is too awkward. I don't even know what to say to him!

"Uhm..." Luminga-linga ako sa paligid. Bahagya ko siyang tinignan at naabutang nakanguso habang nagpipigil ng tawa. Inirapan ko agad ito.

"Sleep now. Make sure you rest." Tumango ako sakanya tila nagiisip pa ng sasabihin.

"Mukha ba akong ewan sumayaw kanina?" The question came out of nowhere. His brow shot up. I'm currently examining his face to see a hint of reaction. Nothing.

"Nevermind." sabi ko at tumalikod. Pero bago pa ako makapasok ay hinawakan niya ang balikat ko. May kuryente agad na dumalot sa buong katawan ko. Pinaharap niya ako sakanya.

"I didn't like it." he said. Bumagsak ang balikat ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Why did I fall inlove with this brute again? Hindi ako nagsalita. I heard him cursed.

"I didn't like it because you attracted too much attention. I didn't like it because almost of the boys in the audience drooled over you. I didn't like it cause you were damn hot while you're hitting the stage." Mukha ng kamatis ang pisngi ko dahil sa mga sinabi niya. Ano ba, Aeson?!
