Verro Duko Point of View

"Ang aga-aga umiinom kana naman pare." I just glance at Dexter who sat right next to me without uttering any single word.

I just continue sipping my glass until it becomes empty.

"Pinapapunta tayo ni boss sa bahay niya." He added and that makes me stop drinking.

"Let's go." I just said and headed outside first.

We are already in the car and on our way to Kean's house.

During the ride I can't stop thinking about Lyssa. My Lyssa.

She's very different now. I can no longer see the genuiness in her eyes. Her smiles were all fake. The way she speak and the way she treats people around her was very different. Far from the Lyssa I know.

Far from the Lyssa who's head over heels inlove with me three years ago. And it bugs my mind to think of it. What happened to her?

It's he question I kept asking myself. Question that I can't answer.

"Bro, nandito na tayo. You're spacing out." Dexter snapped at me and I get back to my senses because of that.

I step outside the car without saying anything and head my way inside the house.

As soon as I get inside the house. Lunatics were having fun with bottles of liquor in the center table as they are playing pusoy dos. It's kind of noisy.

Paano kaya nakakatagal si Kean sa ganitong ingay? I choose to stay a little longer before asking them where Kean at.

"Yow! Nasaan si boss?" I asked getting their attention.

"Opisina niya." I went upstairs and was about to enter his office when I heard a noise coming from his room.

I curiously headed to the room and open the door slightly then I peeked through the door.

Right there and then my eyes widen when I saw the person Kean was talking to.

Alayana's alive? My subconscious mind asked. I shook my head in disbelief and left.

How could Alyana be alive? What is going on here?

I went outside the house and lit a cigaret then I started smoking.

There's a lot of things going on my mind right now. How come Alyana is alive? What exactly happened almost four years ago?

I looked up at Kean's room.

He must be really happy now. His love of his life has returned. I witnessed how he changed after Alyana's so called death.

And now that Alyana is alive I hope everything will be fine now for them.

Third Person Point of View

Nakatambay lang si Verro sa labas ng bahay habang nakasandal sa puno. Nakamasid lang siya sa madilim na paligid. Paminsan-minsan ay napapaangat niya ang ulo at napapatingin sa kwarto ng kaibigang si Kean.

He envy Kean. Ayaw niya mang aminim pero iyon ang nararamdaman niya. Naiinggit siya dahil bumalik na ang babaeng mahal nito habang siya ay ginagawa ang lahat para bumalik sa kaniya ang babaeng mahal niya.

Bumalik nga si Marie pero nagbago naman ito. Ilang taon siyang naghintay sa dalaga na bumalik. Buong akala niya kapag bumalik na ito maitatama na niya ang mali niya. Ngunit nagkamali pala siya.
