The news of Phil was horrible, he came to recruit me when Tony was missing, he was my friend, he was a kind and caring man who didn't deserve to die.

Me and Nat are sitting a recovery room watching over Clint who's strapped downis strapped down."Clint, you're gonna be alright." I reassure him as move over beside him

"You know that? Is that what you know? I got...I gotta go in though. I gotta flush him out." Clint says to us

"We don't have that long, it's gonna take time" Nat tells him as she also moves over beside him.

"I don't understand. Have you ever had someone take your brain and play? Pull you out and send something else in? Do you know what it's like to be unmade?" Clint asks Nat

"You know that I do" Nat answers calmly hinting at the time in the red room

"Why am I back? How did you get him out?" Clint asks us raising an eyebrow

"Cognitive recalibration. I hit you really hard in the head." Nat explains to him with a soft chuckle

"Thanks" Clint chuckles while I unfasten the restrains. "Kat,Tasha, how many agents?" Clint asks us

"Don't. Don't do that to yourself, Clint. This is Loki. This is monsters and magic and nothing we were ever trained for" I tell him helping him sit up.

"Loki, he got away?" Clint questions us

"Yeah. I don't suppose you know where?" Nat asks him and he shakes his head

"I didn't need to know. I didn't ask. He's gonna make his play soon though. Today." Clint says making Nat and I glance at each other

"We gotta stop him." I tell them

"Yeah? Who's we?"Clint asks me

"I don't know. Whoever's left." I reply looking down at my hands

"Well, if I put an arrow in Loki's eyesocket, I'd sleep better I suppose" Clint says making us laugh.

"Now you sound like you."Nat says as she sits on the side of the bed

"But you don't. You're a spy, not a soldier. Now you want to wade into a war. Why? What did Loki do to you?" C,not asks Nat concerned

"He didn't, I just...I've been compromised. I got red in my ledger. I'd like to wipe it out."Nat says with a shrug

"What about you Kat, you always said you don't like working in big teams" Clint says to me

"I know but given the circumstances I think it's worth a try" I tell Clint with a smile

"And it has nothing to do with the fact that you fancy Cap?" Nat asks me with a smirk

"No it doesn't. Not much anyway" I say making them smile then all of a sudden,Steve walks in full uniform looking him

"Time to go." Steve tells us

"Go where?" I ask standing up to face him

"I'll tell you on the way but you won't be to happy. Can either of you fly one of those jets?" Steve says before asking us as Clint walks out of the restroom.

"I can." Clint says and Steve looks at me and I nod my head to confirm Clint's on our side.

"You got a suit?"Steve asks Clint

"Yeah." Clint replies

"Then suit up." Steve says before leaving and me, Nat and Clint all glance st each other

"You heard him, let's go kick some alien ass" I say jumping up and heading towards the door

"I can see why she likes him" I hear Clint mutter to Nat as I walk out the door

"I heard that" I shout as I walk down the corridor to my room to get ready

Suited up, the four of us walk through the Hellicarrier ignoring the looks from agents as we walk out onto the flight deck and onto a jet "You are not authorized to be here..." the agent tells us

"Son... just don't."
