Chapter 48

Opening my eyes i found myself to we laying in what can only be described as the sewer system. Gross. A figure in front of me, helps me stand up as I try to recall how we ended up here. "Kat hey, you okay?" Clint asks me and I nod in reply 

"This is isn't good" I mutter as I make a ball of fire in my hand to help see if there's a way out "Kat" Clint says and i turn around and see hordes of outriders coming towards us. Clint quickly grabs the gauntlet from the ground as we both take of running in the other direction.

Clint and i continue to run from the outriders as we weave through tunnels hoping to find a way out. I stop running and turn to face the outriders and make a ball of fire before throwing it towards them, blowing them up.

"Oh hey i know you" Clint says as i turn around and see Nebula and Clint hands her the gauntlet "Father" She says making me and Clint gasp in shock, clearly there must be more than one of her. "I have the stones" She speaks through her earpiece.

"Stop" A voice calls as a woman with green skin appears rom around the corner "You're betraying us?" Nebula asks us  as another Nebula also appears. Clint and i watch from the side as the three of them start to argue and to say i'm confused is an understatement. As soon as they finish arguing, the future nebula shoots her past self, giving Clint and I a chance to grab the gauntlet and run.

"We need to get out of here and fast" I tell Clint as we come to a stop and in the distance i manage to see Steve fighting what looks to be Thanos.

"Go" Clint tells me and i face him in shock "Go help him, i'll keep this hidden" Clint tells me and i shake my head at him "I'm not leaving you Clint. I already lost Nat and i'm not about to lose you too" I tell him

"Kat you need to go. I'll find you in a bit i promise. GO!" Clint shouts and i hesitantly nod and walk off but not before pulling him into a hug because no matter what happens this wont be the last time i see him.

3rd persons pov

"In all my years of conquest, violence and slaughter it was never personal. But i'll tell you now what i'm about to do to your stubborn planet i'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much" Thanos says as he summons his entire army, including the children of Thanos, Chitauri, Sakaarans, outriders and chitauri gorillas.

Upon seeing the army descending on earth, Steve slowly gets back to his feet, he tightens his broken shield to his arm and stands against Thanos' giant army alone. Suddenly, a crackling comes in on his communicator.

"Hey, Cap, you read me?" The voice of Sam Wilson is heard through his earpiece. Steve stops and looks around as he hears this. "Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?" Sam asks as a yellow portal begins to form behind him. "On your left."

Steve looks behind him to see the portal on his left side. Three figures step through; Okoye, Shuri, and Black Panther, fully restored and ready to fight. Steve and the revived Wakandans share a look when Sam zooms in from above in his Falcon armor. As he does, we see dozens more portals opening up all around the battlefield. Through one of these, Doctor Strange descend in and he is joined by Drax, Mantis, Star Lord, and Spider-Man. Everyone watches in confusion and awe as more and more heroes arrive from all corners of the universe, all backed up with forces of their own including Black Panther and his Wakandan army, Valkyrie and the Asgardians, Wong and the Masters of the Mystic Arts and several Ravager ships. Amongst the throngs of heroes we see Bucky, Groot, the Scarlet Witch, the Wasp, and Pepper Potts arrive. Nearly every hero has magically been transported to the battlefield to face Thanos' hordes

"Is that everyone?" Doctor Strange asks  "What, you wanted more?" Wong asks him

Giant Ant-Man emerges from the rubble of the Avengers facility with Professor Hulk, War Machine, and Rocket. The Avengers, Guardians, Wakandans, Asgardians, and Ravagers take up battle positions. All the heroes standing across Thanos' forces each with looks of determination. Kathleen stands beside Tony both sharing looks of reassurance, both unaware of what their future holds.
