Chapter 44

Trying to sleep, knowing what awaits us tomorrow is pretty much impossible. At least it is for me, Steve on the overhand is fast asleep snoring away. Lucky bitch.
Instead of laying here, staring at the ceiling I get up pushing the covers off me, careful not to disturb Steve. I creep out of the room and head down the hallway and down the stairs where a light is coming from the kitchen. I walk towards it and open up the door when my eyes land on Nat who's sitting at the counter eating what looks to be a bar of chocolate.
"Can't sleep?" I ask as I walk over and sit opposite her
"Not a wink" Nat says
"That makes two of us" I say as I pinch a piece of her chocolate
"Three actually" Clint says as he appears and walks over to us, taking a seat at the end of the counter
"Tomorrow will be fine right? I mean we've faced the Chitari" I say trying to reassure us
"And Loki"
"Flying Robots"
"Ultron"
"Hydra more than once"
"Yeah this is totally the same" Clint says with a shrug
"yeah it's just another alien" I add in with a smile
"Can't be as bad as Budapest" Nat says as she looks as Clint
"Right" Clint agrees
"Yeah I still don't know what happened in Budapest" I tell them both
"And you never will" Clint says
"Oh come on please it's my duty as your best friend to know everything about you both" I say to them with a smirk
"Nice try but not happening" Clint says
"Fine i guess that means you won't wanna know happened after our mission in Tokyo" I say with a smirk
"Wait what" Clint says
"Oh Yeah So you remember how we were all undercover trying to get that Jensen bloke? Well when you were with that barmaid who was flirting with you and she got you to go up on the stage and to karaoke. You told Nat and I we weren't to tell anyone about that." I explain to him
"Who did you tell?" Clint asks
"Oh we didn't tell anyone" Nat says with a smile
"No we shew someone" I say with a smirk " you see when you got Nat and I to meet Laura for the first time you left to go pick up the food and well we shew Laura the video of you singing" I finish explaining to him
"Kinda a surprise she stayed with you after seeing that" Nat says with a smile
"Oh really. Well now I'm glad Nat and i spayed on you when you went on your date  with Cap" Clint says with a smug smirk
"I'm sorry, you did what?" I ask them shocked
"That's right. You remember your first date with him, he took you to that Italian restaurant after the attack with Loki. Well you remember that couple, the woman with long blonde hair and glasses and then the man who hadn't had a shave in months" Clint explains to me
"Oh my god, that was you two. I thought that was some paparazzi or something" I exclaim as I lean back in my chair.
"Oh no that was us. And nice pick up lines by the way" Nat says with a smirk
"Thanks thought of them myself " I reply

"We did have some good times didn't we" I say as we know lay in the lounge with pizza
"Yeah till you got old and boring" Clint says to me
"Hey that's not true" I exclaim and Nat gives me the 'are you kidding look' "remember the time Clint went on that date with that women from accounting then called us as like 3am begging us to pick him up as she had a pet snake that 'wanted to eat him'" I ask them both and Nat laughs but Clint glares slightly
"I wasn't scared" Clint defends himself
"You literally screamed its gonna eat me into the phone" Nat says to him
"Fine but can't be any worse then the time the two of you got stranded in Greece" Clint says to us
"In our defence you were supposed to pick us up, not to leave us and not tell us the mission was finished" Nat tells him
"Yeah but then we wouldn't of met those really cute guys, Nat" i say to her with a smirk
"Correction you thought they were cute" Nat says making me scoff
"Yeah right you ended up with your tongue down the guys throat" I say to her which causes her to glare at me slightly.
"I'm going to bed" Nat says as she gets up from the sofa
"Yeah me too" Clint says as we also get up
"I love you both, whatever happens I'm glad I met you both" I say to them as we give each other a hug
"Yeah me too. You know you two are like my little sisters crazy and stupid at times, but I love you both" Clint says to us
"You two are the family I never had, whatever happens know I love you" Nat says to us
"Stay alive tomorrow" I say to them both
"You too" Clint says to me
"Do you think tomorrow I could bring my old car back with me? I lost it when our place was destroyed in Malibu. Some things just can't be replaced"
