Chapter 18

Me and the team are heading onto one of the cargo ships all geared up, hoping to get some answers. "Doll you sure you don't want to go with Nat and Clint" Steve asks just as we reach the ship

"I've already told you, i'll be fine" I say smiling at him as the rest of the team make their way onto the ship

"Be safe Doll" Steve says kissing me

"Always am honey" I say before we join the team on the ship and we make our way silently up the stairs.

"It's a thing with me. Stark is, he's a sickness!" Ultron says as the fours of us creep up behind him

"Ahh, Junior. You're gonna break your old man's heart." Tony says and Ultron turns to face us, with the twins behind him

"If I have to." Ultron  replies

"We don't have to break anything." Thor warns Ultron

"Clearly you've never made an omelet." Ultron says making me glance at Tony

"He beat me by one second." Tony mutters

"Ah, this is funny, Mr. Stark, Miss Stark. It's what, comfortable? Like old times?" Pierto asks us stepping forward

"This was never our life." I say getting defensive

"You two can still walk away from this." Steve says as he places a hand on my back to calm me

"Oh, we will." Wanda says cockily

"I know you've suffered." Steve says to them

"Uuughh! Captain America. God's righteous man, pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but..." Ultron rambles making me raise an eyebrow

"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it." Thor says to them

"I think you're confusing peace with quiet." Ultron fires back

"Yuh-huh. What's the Vibranium for?" Tony asks quickly getting back on track

"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan!" Ultron says as suddenly the Iron Legions attack us.

I jump over the railing and land on a iron legion and I pull my taser from my suit and taser it making it fall down, so I quickly flip of it landing back on my two feet. Pulling out my gun I shoot at the iron legion in front of me making it fall down but I then feel metal wrap around my neck making me panic slightly. Looking around I see a metal pipe so I quickly focus on it and get to his the iron legion making it let go of me and I quickly shoot it before getting back up.

"Thor! Status?" I hear Steve ask I walk quietly around the corner with my gun ready

"The girl tried to warp my mind. Take special care, I doubt a human could keep her at bay. Fortunately, I am mighty." Thor replies and I hear a noise in front of me. Before I can pull the trigger however, it's suddenly ripped from my hand and I'm chucked backwards into a load of pipes making me groan in pain.

"What you didn't see that coming"Pierto asks looking down at me smirking, before I can reply though everything goes red.

Walking forward, I'm at some kind of club, only it's old fashioned as if I'm in the nineties. Looking around people are smiling and dancing all having fun as if they are celebrating. I soon spot a figure in front of me in full army uniform. Steve. Smiling I walk over to him and I place my hand on his shoulder making him face me

"I'm sorry ma'am but do I know you?" Steve asks making my smile disappear and I frown in confusion

"What are you talking about Steve?" I ask confused as I notice a lady approach us.

Steve wraps her in a hug and places a loving kiss on her lips. Peggy. She turns to look at me and starts to laugh and soon Steve joins in as well

"Oh darling, do you really think he would love you? You're nothing but a spoilt brat what takes pride killing others. You're a monster, you kill, you hurt people. Why would Steve ever pick you? You are nothing. Nothing" Peggy hisses as tears run down my cheeks

"I never lover you. I lied. Peggy will always be the women for me. As if you would even compare to her" Steve says to me smiling and I slowly back away from them shaking my head

"This isn't real" I mutter to myself as I get lost on a crowd of people who all laugh and dance around me making me fall down crying "it's not real. It's not real" I repeat before I scream

""Kat! Kat wake up" Clint says shaking me making gasp and I look around, I'm still on the ship with the team

"What was that" I mutter wiping my tears away

"Maximoff girl, come on let's get you to the jet" Clint says helping me up and leading me away
