Chapter 14

I shoot my guns at any Hydra agents nearby as I hold onto the side of the jeep with one hand which Nat is driving while also shooting some Hydra agents off. Clint stands on top off the jeep, shooting with his arrows while Steve drives beside us on his motorbike. I shoot at the agents that run towards the truck, hitting them all straight in the chest. Tony and Thor soon appear taking out many more of the agents as well

The jeep soon swerves making the three of us jump out of it and we run straight over to some agents, immediately taking them out. I drop my gun back into the hoister and instead I shoot balls of fire at the soldiers nearby, taking them out

"Shit!" I hear Tony curse as I move into the forest and duck behind a tree as Hydra agents move by

"Language! JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?" Steve asks as I manipulate the bark and send bits of it flying at the agents stabbing them

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken." Jarvis replies

"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last." I hear Thor say

"At long last is lasting a little long, boys." I say flipping a hydra agent over and tasering them

"Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise." Cling sasses as I walk further into the forest

"Wait a second. No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said language?" Tony asks making me smile

"I know. It just slipped out." Steve says and I shoot as some more agents

"Well I think is kinda hot" I say while smirking and shooting in front of me at the agents

"Of course you would' I hear Nat say as I walk over to where Clint is

"You didn't see that coming?" I hear a voice say and I see a figure near Clint before speeding off and as soon as it does Clint gets shot

"Clint!" I shout running over to his side and pulling out a bandage from my pocket

"We have an enhanced in the field." Steve says through the earpiece as I wrap up Clint's side

"Clint's hit!" I warn the others as Nat comes facing over

"Somebody want to deal with that bunker?" Nat asks as I get up ready to shoot but Hulk soon comes and smashes it "Thank you." Nat mutters

"You two be okay here if I go?" I ask them

"Yeah go" Nat says with a smile and with one last glance st Clint I run off making my way towards Stece's directiob

"Stark, we're really need to get inside." Steve says as I shoot at agents in my way

"I'm closing in. JARVIS, am I...closing in? Do you see a power source for that shield?" Tony asks Jarvi

"There's a pathway below the north tower" Jarvis replies as I see Steve near me so I make my way over to him.

"Great, I wanna poke it with something."Tony says before seconds later adding "Drawbridge is down, people".

"The enhanced?" Thor asks Steve and I

" He's a blur. All the new player's we've faced, I've never seen this. In fact, I still haven't." Steve replies looking around

"Clint's hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac." Nat says through the ear piece

"I can get Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone the better. You two and Stark secure the scepter." Thor tells us

"Copy that." I say as soldiers ina hydra tanks approach us

"Looks like they're lining up." Thor says smiling and knowing what's coming next, I create a barrier of fire around me so I won't get affected by the impact

"Well, they're excited." Steve adds as Thor pounds on Steve's shield with his hammer and the force knocks down all the soldiers

"Find the scepter." Thor orders before flying off

"And for gosh sake, watch your language!" Tony adds laughing at his own joke

"That's not going away anytime soon." Steve sighs

"I'm afraid not honey" I say touching his arm with a smile "Come on let's go see what we can find inside"

"Baron Strucker. Hydra's number one thug"Steve says as we approach Strucker

"Technically, I'm a thug for SHIELD." Strucker says smirking

"Well then technically you're unemployed. Where's Loki's scepter?" I ask getting to the point

"Don't worry, I know when I'm beat. You'll mention how I cooperated, I hope"Strucker says to us

"I'll put it right under illegal human experimentation." Steve tells him with a smirk

"How many are there?" I ask him but suddenly Steve and I are knocked down the stairs, we quickly get up and run up the stairs as a female leaves the room

"We have a second enhanced. Female. Do not engage." Steve says informing the rest of the team

"You'll have to be faster than..." Strucker starts to say but Steve uses his shield to quickly knock him out

"Impresive, you got anymore moves up your sleeve?" I ask Steve with a smirk

"You'll have to wait and see" Steve smirks as at me

"Guys, we got Strucker." I inform the team

"Yeah, I got...something bigger."
