You stood on your tip toes, and leant forward, kissing Rick, he placed his forehead to yours.
"I love you Y/N." "I love you too Rick, be safe out there." "When am I not?" "I couldn't count on my hands, how many times you've been stupid."
You heard him laugh as you moved back, "I'll see you soon Y/N. Once we've negotiated with this saviours. We will be back... You look after everyone." Rick moved his arm onto the side of the van.
"You'd better." You smiled, waving him off as the van began to move forward.
Rick did come back, but not like the man he once was, and with less people than he went with.
