It was strange to see Negan out of his cell, for one you had to listen to him argue about his unfair treatment, which you had to agree, was pretty horrific but then again, he did kill... A lot of people. Even the Apocalypse doesn't excuse blatant murder.
But, the pair of you had shared some quality time together, you were fond of one another, but Negan's apparent ego wouldn't allow him to say such things to you. But others could see it in the way he looked at you, it was different to the way he once did.
It was content and admiration.
It was as if he'd finally found a real reason to keep fighting.
