They are the perfect example of Yin and yang. Good and evil. Devils and Angels. Yes. It’s been said by some people that they believe Lauren Jauregui is possessed by a demon, or maybe even the devil himself at times, and whatever it is that possesses her is determined to get to Camila. As far as the assumptions go with Camila… it’s said that she’s an angel. An honest to god, angel, literally, and that’s why Lauren was ‘Sent’ after her. That’s what people tell you, in the books, newspapers, and in the stories around darkened campfires, whispering, scaring little children into their tents with they one predictable sentence, saying that it’s a true story, what happened that is.

It’s impossible to keep them apart. You can get Lauren away from her, sure, but keeping her away is impossible. It’s just… one of those common known, outstanding things. Everybody knows this. But the rest of the story is confusing. Nobody really knows what’s truth and what’s rumor. A lot is pure assumption. Some of the story may have been stretched to the extreme, or maybe it wasn’t even close to the truth and it was even worse than what some believe is the stretched truth. You’ll never really know unless you saw it through the eyes of the ones that had to sit through the disaster. The ones that detained them, time after time and sat back, grinning, counting down the days as it became a game. Making bets on which day Lauren would break out and answer the screeching calls of her detained, distressed Camila. They would all sit back, astounded in a new way every single time, it was almost magical, in a twisted way. It really was hard to believe that Lauren was human at times, the way that her mind and body worked, it was as if she had no limit and her life goal was only to be with Camila for eternity.

You wouldn’t believe it, unless you saw it. Struggled against it. It’s too dangerous, but someone always takes the job. It’s a wonder how the people that work in mental institution stay sane. Especially the ones assigned to specifically look after Lauren and Camila. Now, I know you’re thinking, wondering why they don’t just keep them in separate institutions. Well, they tried that once, and it’s something that they wouldn’t ever dare try again after what happened. The first and last time they did all hell broke loose. No pun intended.

Lauren went insane as soon as the doors closed in her room. Having been chained to the wall, by both arms and feet, blindfolded, wearing nothing other than a white hospital-like gown, it seemed as though she wouldn’t be able to escape, as though she couldn’t hurt herself, and as though, most importantly to the rest of the world, she couldn’t hurt others. But they were wrong. She got out. The sight was something the next morning. The pipe along the wall that she had been chained to was ripped off of the wall completely. A piece of it was broken off, god only knows how, and wedged into the bars in the window just enough to warp the strong metal, so that her thin body could fit through them. They thought that the cell would keep her in considering that just looking at her you automatically assumed she was weak. The head of this new facility did.

She looked so weak, and heartbroken and battered and beaten and that’s why people who didn’t know her would fall victim to her. She was smart and cunning, and knew how play on people’s emotions. Had she ever escaped into the real world, nobody would stand a chance once they looked into her piercing green eyes. The was an incident where she broke out and posed as an innocent rape victim once, but that story isn’t for now. There’s no need to worry, she was caught eventually and made her way to Camila, getting them both caught, as she does every time she finds her. They only escaped successfully together once. Because of the fact that Camila was an angel, she didn’t try to escape, and she didn’t fight against the people dragging her to her cell. She even walked slowly in between her two escorts on some days, with a small smile and a twinkle in her eyes. No, she was never the one to escape, she just waited until Lauren escaped to find her.  She never worried because even though her heart ached for her she always knew the girl would find her. No matter what she would always heal her wounds, they healed each other’s wounds actually, it’s what kept them alive. It was ironic, the good helping the evil, and the evil healing the good.
