“I have to go,” Camila whispered as she stood up, glancing over her shoulder to see the other girl turning around too, about to get up. “Don’t,” She shook her head when Lauren stood up and took a few steps towards her.

“Camz,” She mumbled, her eyes softening.

The brown-eyed girl could feel her breathing quacking by the nickname; the nickname that Lucas had given her after their third date, the nickname that only he knew about. “Don’t call me that. Are you one of those sick people that stalk other couples? Have you been stalking me and my boyfriend?”

Lauren rolled her eyes as she took a few steps towards the younger girl, stopping up quickly as she noticed the frightened look in her eyes. She would never want to scare her away; she wouldn’t want to hurt her either. “Just…”

“No,” Camila shook her head, not even wanting the girl to finish. “You’re sick, do you know that?”

Before Camila had a chance to react, the green-eyed girl had moved towards her, grabbed her by her hips and pulled her into her body. Her hands had fallen on her chest, her eyes closing as she felt the other girl’s breathing on her face. “Why are you doing this?” She whispered, her voice slightly hoarse. “Why did you decide me of all people?”

Lauren tightened her grip on her waist, one of her hands moving up to lift the younger girl’s chin up. “I should have listened to you. I shouldn’t have gone to Afghanistan.”

The brown-eyed girl’s eyes widened and she ripped out of the other girl’s grip, her head shaking. “No, no… You don’t dare to drag my dead boyfriend into all of this. I don’t know for how long you’ve been stalking us for, but you don’t even mention him again and you stay the hell away from me too.”

That was the last thing Lauren heard the smaller girl say before the door to the rooftop slammed shut.

“Maybe not the best way to tell her,” She sighed to herself, her hand moving up to ruffle her hair. Of course she wasn’t going to give up, she was the love of her life and she would do everything in her power to get her back. If that meant making her fall in love with her all over again she would do it, the same way she did the last time.

Camila had started running the second she had gotten out of the building. She was terrified about how the unknown girl knew so much about her, she didn’t know how or when she even saw Camila for the first time, but she obviously knew a lot about her relationship that no one knew.

She kept looking over her shoulder, afraid that the black-haired girl would show up. Maybe she was psychic.

Knocking on her bestfriend’s door twice which was something she always did right before she ripped the door open and slammed it shut again, leaning her back against it after she had locked the door. She fell down on the floor, her breathing uneven, tears running down her cheeks and her face emotionless.

“I didn’t expect you to- what’s wrong?” Dinah frowned as she ran down the stairs and kneeled down in front of the smaller girl, not being able to get eye contact with her as she kept on looking into distance. “Did something happen?”

Camila nodded her head weakly.

“What happened, babe?” She asked, cupping her cheeks and forcing her to look at her. “You know I hate seeing you cry and I’ve been seeing a lot of that lately.”

“I think I’m going crazy,” The brown-eyed girl said, sounding a little unsure. “I don’t know what’s happening. Maybe he really is back?”

“What? Mila, start from the beginning.”

Camila nodded her head slowly, her eyes closing as she took a little breath. “There’s this girl. I met her a few weeks ago and everything with her felt so comfortable, it was so natural to talk to her. I gave her my phone number-“
