Chapter 67

"Are you flirting with me, Karrington?" He asks me with a huge smirk on his face. I smirk right back at him. "Maybe...maybe not." I wink at him and nod my head up and down. He laughs out loud and so do I. I feel like this huge weight has been lifted off of my chest. I never even realized that I had that much weight on my chest in the first place, but I feel
so much lighter. I don't care if that doesn't make any sense. It makes sense to me.

"I love you." He says, with an easy grin on his face. "It's crazy, but I love you too." I tell him. "So, where do we go from here?" He asks me. He looks so vulnerable. I take a deep breath. "I think that we should just take each day as it comes....together." I tell him, honestly.

He looks at me and his face looks like the absolute definition of heart eyes. And those heart eyes are directed towards me. Somebody please pinch me. "That sounds like the perfect plan to me." He leans forward and presses his warm lips against mine. I sigh in content.
