Irie Yuki 5: Finally Get It after a Long Furlough

Meanwhile. While Kotoko and Naoki were traveling to Oji-chan's countryside...

So Konomi was here since last night? It's not a dream? I thought...

Looking at her right now, all the scenes from last night fazed into my mind. Something hot rose in my cheeks. I continued drinking water in the kitchen. This is all Kotoko's fault. She and mom planned this against me. I never told them to bring Konomi here. Dammit. Why am I doing? Why am I saying these things like I'm running away?

"Yuki!" Mom surprised me having that kind of look. I know since that stupid and annoying Kotoko and Ni-chan left to Grandfather's countryside, she'll put her attention on pestering me.

"What is it, Mom?" I asked her, with that irritating tone.

"What are you doing? Konomi is waiting for you in the living room! Don't you have anything to say after you put so much trouble on her last night? She was worried sick for you!"

"I know that!" I retorted, things aren't going well in my mind right now. I don't know what to think of. My heart is racing pretty fast while my mind is clouded. "H-how about you, Mom? Don't you have anything to say to me after what you've done?" Dammit. I didn't know Konomi was coming here. If I should have known, I won't be acting crazy as that. It was so embarrassing! I want the floor to suck me down anytime that I want it! I mean right now!

And she laughed like a terrible old lady, "Oh-ho-ho! What have I done? Did I do something bad? All I know is I only helped you in your romance. You're so hard-headed when it comes about it." and she leaned close to me just to whisper some annoying words, "You should be grateful to us, Yuki. If Kotoko and I haven't done something about it, you would be lying sick on your bed for the rest of your life. We all know the reason for your high fever was Konomi, right? I didn't know you were that stupid, son. Well, you, brothers are really stupid when it comes to love so as your mom, I will make sure that you two will have a fantastic romance throughout your whole life! Leave that to me!"

"Stop that nonsense mom! I am not a child anymore! Do you understand that?!" I yelled back at her. Mom always does things against my will. And I certainly hate it to that extent!

"I still have to look after you until on your wedding night." and then she smiled.

"Oh, please don't!" I hardly disagree. I am not a Mama's boy for damn sake!

"But you are a Mama's boy, Yuki-kun." she squealed and then went to wash the dishes.

Dammit! I want to move out of the house! I finally understand why Ni-chan left this house a long time ago! Mom is always nagging around us until we can't decide what's best for our lives!

I walked out of the kitchen with an angry face.

I was about to head upstairs but I saw Konomi sitting on the sofa in the living room. It made my heart stopped except that it is wildly beating. She was sitting with her hands on her lap, her bag was on her side... like she was waiting for someone to come around. I held to the fence a little tighter, with my clenched fists. I certainly looked so idiot. And I thought... not this time... but...
