"Come at me bro. Put me in the hospital I don't care. Like you said I'm a monkey and I'm a loser. Go head hit me all you want. Go ahead hit me."

Fine. When I'm done with you you'll be waking up in the hospital.

"Go head, I told I don't care."

(20minutes later)

(Calum walks outside)

"LUKE, LUKE! CALL 911! ASH'S OUT COLD!"

(Luke dials 911)

911 what's your emergency?

"My friend got beat up, he's unresponsive."

Is he breathing?

"Yes he has a pulse."

We're sending an ambulance.

(Ambulance arrives)

What happened?

"This kid in our grade, Michael Clifford, was chasing me so Ashton went outside to take my spot. He beat him up. We tried to stop him. Nothing worked. Michael has been bullying Ashton for over a year."

He's in pretty bad shape. It took a punch to the head. He might have broken bones. When we get to the hospital we'll run some tests.

(Goes to the hospital)

(2 hours later)

Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood.

"Yes. How's Ashton?"

He's banged up pretty bad. He has a concusion , 2 broken ribs, broken nose, broken wrist, bruised abdomen. When we were doing a full body examination we find cuts on his right wrist. It looks like it's been done purposely. Do you know anything about this?

"No sir. Ashton never told us that he cuts."

I'm sorry you have to find out this way. You can see him now. We're gonna send a phycologist to talk to him about it. By the way I'm Dr. Nickelson.

"Thank you so much."

Hi Ashton how are you?

"I'm...im...fine."

Ashton,you we're beaten up pretty bad.

"I know. I can barely move."

I don't know how to say this but, when the doctors were examining you they found self inflicted cuts on your right wrist. Why didn't you tell us you were hurting?

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry Luke. I'm sorry Calum. I couldn't deal with Michael anymore, this is how I've been dealing with it."

(Ashton begins to cry)

"I'm sorry for being with a failure of a friend. I don't deserve you, and you guys don't deserve me."

You don't deserve to be bullied Ashton. I do.

"No you don't Luke. I deserve all the hate in the world."
