The Work of Love (Hajeongwoo)

It was another lonely and gloomy day for Watanabe Haruto as he laid his eyes on Jeongwoo; sitting in his chair with his books in its table, scanning them all, biting his pen as he continued taking down bookmarks. He looks so serious meanwhile the class is in chaos since morning is the only time they have to chitchat nonstop- Mr. Kwon haven't arrived yet.

It's been weeks. Yes, Jeongwoo the genius king isn't meeting the group since that day he proclaimed he's not friends with anyone with them anymore. He cancelled treating Haruto as his slave and distant himself with anyone. He surely can manage being a loner which Haruto is worried about- Jihoon keeps telling him to let Jeongwoo reflect on his wrongdoings, he even left a good saying "you need to tame an arrogant with avoidance." which merely means you need to ignore him to realize things on his own. Although it feels like he's having different reflection compared to his expectation, they need to deal with it.

His heart pounded when Jeongwoo suddenly glared at him- He was staring so much, he realized. He immediately averted his gaze away, pretending to pick his own book when he saw Mr. Kwon entered the room with Mingyu at his back.

'What the heck is he doing here?'

He saw Jeongwoo's shocked expression, he bit his lips showing some nervousness as Mingyu just gave him a sweet smile. 'What a flirt.' Haruto clenched his teeth. He can't even hide the frustration. These days, he always see the cool kid hanging out with Jeongwoo. It's making him angry.

"So attention everyone." Mr. Kwon started saying. "Kim Mingyu will be part of this class from now on. He is from Class D and luckily got the chance to replace Yeonggue as he decided to transfer." Mingyu smiled with showing his complete beautiful set of teeth.

Yeonggue sadly need to take another path in Japan, his parents asked him to go with them and settle there that made Jeongwoo even more lonely. He lost his best friend too. Yeonggue had been one of his closest friends among others and he is his adviser.

"He doesn't even deserve Yeonggue's place though." Yuki said between silence. Everyone looked at her as she only raised her brows.

Some girls started giving death glares at her as she realized that kid got a fans club here in their school already despite the fact that he is just a mere transferee, well people are always head over heels for faces- looks like they don't know how brutal that handsome kid is. People should be aware, Yuki thought.

"I hope you can welcome him and don't make him feel like an outcast." Mr. Kwon showed a smile. Majority of the class were glad to see Mingyu, except Yuki and Haruto. They hate him, especially Haruto who got a bad chills over his existence.

"Hello, I'm Kim Mingyu, I hope all of us can be friends." he said as Mr. Kwon asked him to greet the class.

Haruto secretly rolled his eyes when he heard the class exclaimed in joy.

'What's making them happy? Really?'

Mingyu was asked to take Yeonggue's seat- which means he will sit next to Jeongwoo. Haruto immediately move his way to stop Mingyu taking a chance to flirt around with Jeongwoo. The idea is not his taste.

"Yah, move away, that will be my seat." Mingyu said with a low voice yet with authority. They are exchanging glares ready to fight each other.

"I would like to offer my chair. This is the simplest way I can do to welcome you." sarcasm on point, he smirked.

"No thanks." Mingyu said as he tried to step over when Haruto blocked him using his feet. The cool kid raised his brow, running out of patience.
