09 - Poem
Kaetherine's POV:
Shock automatically registered on her pulchritudinous face before she could even hide it. I saw how her expressionless eyes lit up rejoicing upon seeing the woman standing in front of us. How her world totally stops just by looking at her.
A mixture of surprise and excitement swept over her face and right then and there, I felt an undesirable pain, slowly eroding my whole being by just witnessing the scene.
"C-Clara..." Ms. Rielle whispered dearly as she recovers from being surprised.
"You're here. Why?" She continued with hope in her voice.
"Ah, yes. Mrs. Bautista told me to do so. She said formally that made the other turned hopeless.
"So? Let's start?"
Well, not all actually.
Just lucky these two are dahil hindi na iba ang relasyon nila. Since the lgbtqia+ community is highly accepted in Greenwoods University which means the university welcomes them, arms open.
To show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community, they created an organization, which they said was co-led by Nurse Clara. It emerges when the majority of the community's members feel rejected and discriminated against.
So, they propose that those who have been rejected can consider the university as a second home where they may freely express themselves and overcome their fear of rejection as well as severe negative reactions.
Also, from the perspective of the university's board of trustees, there's no real reason for them to be treated as inferior just because they chose to take different paths that oppose their biological sex and be in love with the same gender, receiving judgments such as being immoral.
When truthfully it is not. They are just being themselves and being themselves is not immoral. Being different is okay because that is what everybody needs that makes an individual unique from one another and those differences make us the same.
And immorality is how an individual failed to distinguish moral values of what a human being should have. May ibang tao na nagagawang pumatay o babuyin ang isang tao and I think those are the things we could consider immoral, not the ones who want to be true to themselves.
"Clara, where will you be staying?"
