Here's another chapter.

-Recap-

"We're just a little bit of history repeating." She says before walking over to the electrocution dial. She stops and taps her fingers on the machine before turning to Derek. "History repeating. It's not Jackson, is it? Oh no, no, no, he's got a little scratch on the back of his neck, but... he's not in love with Allison. Not like Scott."

(Lyrica's P.O.V.)

"Mom, I'm heading to bed." Isaac says, coming into the dining room where I'm grading papers.

"Alright, Sweetie. Goodnight." I reply, looking up at him with a soft smile.

He smiles and turns to leave the room, but stops. "Mom?"

"Yeah, Isaac?" I ask, putting the papers together and tucking them back in a folder.

"Derek's gonna be okay, right?" He asks, on the verge of tears. "Because I don't think I could live with myself, knowing that he died before I called him 'Dad'."

"Isaac, he'll be okay." I say, walking up to him and pulling him in for a hug.

"I just can't lose him. You guys saved me from my dad and I never knew what a good father was supposed to be like until I met Derek." He sobs. "I was so scared when I first met him because I didn't know what he was gonna be like, but he's so caring and protective and he's the best father I could ask for. I never got the chance to call him 'Dad' or tell him how much I appreciate everything he's done."

"Isaac, we'll find him. I promise." I say, moved by his words. "Go get some rest. He'll be home before you know it, and you can tell him everything you just told me."

"Okay." He sniffles before turning and going up to his room.

I sigh and sit at the dining table, running my fingers through my hair. I have to find Derek. Everything is gonna fall apart without him. I think for a moment before making a decision. Determined, I stand and slip on my shoes. I put my hair in a ponytail and text Isaac that I'm gonna go for a walk. I pocket my phone and exit the house after making sure to lock all the doors and windows. I use my use my advanced speed and run through the Preserve until I reach my destination.

I climb up on the rock and shift, looking over the entire town. It's not even five minutes when someone shows up behind me. I turn to look at Scott, his golden eyes reflecting my blue ones. Both of us knowing what to do, we turn to look out over the town and howl. We howl like we've never howled before, the demonic sound bounding through the town and bouncing off every building like a ball. After a couple minutes the howls die off, leaving me and Scott in a suspenseful silence. We both back off the rock and wait. Just when Scott turns to leave, Derek's howl fills the air. It's weak and full of pain, but it's all we need. I turn and sprint towards where the howl came from, not caring if Scott follows me. At some point I drop to all fours to gain more ground and Scott catches up to me, running beside me.

We stop when we reach the old Hale House. Scott looks around as I run to a worn down metal gate in the ground, leading to an underground tunnel. I fling open the door and we both run down, following Derek's scent to a dark, damp room. I fling open the door and we rush in, finding a weak Derek chained to a metal gate. I examine the room before running up to him, taking his face in my hands.

"Oh thank God, Derek." I sob and he weakly smiles.

"It's alright. Don't cry." He says, but he looks ready to cry too.

"Let's get you out of here." I reach up and uncuff one of his hands, but Scott stops me before I can do the other.

"Lyrica, we need to hide. Someone is coming."

"But-"

"Lyrica, go. It'll be alright." Derek says and I reluctantly follow Scott behind a wall.

Not even a minute later, the door flies open and a guy walks in with a baseball bat. He walks up to a light in front of Derek, and turns it on, shining it directly in his face.

"Ready to have some more fun?" He asks and Scott covers my mouth as I growl. "To be honest, my knuckles are kind of hurting. So I brought some help." He lifts up the bat. "But I need to warn ya. I used to play in college."

Derek reaches out with the hand I unchained and catches the bat as the guy swings it at him.

"I brought a little help too." Derek says and the guy spins around to look at where Scott and I are standing.

Derek swings forward and hits the dude with his bat, sending him flying across the room and knocking him unconscious. Scott and I walk forward as Derek reaches down and rips the electrocution patch off his side.

"Help me with this." Derek says and I move to help him, but Scott grabs my arm. I turn, Derek and I both growling at him for touching me.

"No." He says, not letting go of me.

"What?" I ask.

"Not until you tell me how to stop Peter." Scott insists, holding my arm tighter as I try to pull away from him.

"You really wanna talk about this right now?" Derek seethes.

"He's going after Allison and her family. He's going to kill them."

"So what?!" Derek exclaims.

"So tell me how to stop him. You'd do the same if he was threatening Lyrica and Isaac." Scott says and I pull my arm, only for him to dig his claws into my arm, blood running down his fingers.

"You can't! All right? Now-" Derek pulls against the chain. "I don't know when Kate's coming back, so just get me out of this right now! Get me out right now!"

"Promise you'll help me." Scott says and I use my werewolf strength to rip my arm out of his grasp, feeling the cuts on my arm heal instantly. I push Scott away and move to help Derek.

"You want us to risk our lives for your girlfriend, huh?" I ask, pissed. "For your stupid little teenage crush that means absolutely nothing?"

"You'd do it for each other." He says.

"Because we're mates. We'd die without each other. Literally and figuratively." I reply. "You're not in love, Scott. You're 16 years old. You're a child."

"Maybe you're right." He says, looking at the ground. "But I know something you don't. Peter said he didn't know what he was doing when he killed your sister, right? He lied. Remember this?" He holds out a paper. "This is what brought your sister back to Beacon Hills, right?"

"Where'd you get that?" Derek asks.

"My boss told me three months ago someone came into the clinic asking for a copy of this picture. Do you wanna know who it was? Peter's nurse. They brought your sister here so that Peter could kill her and become the Alpha, and that's why you're going to help me."

We just glare at him and he turns away from us, walking a few steps.

"Just say you'll help me and I'll help you unlock your other..." Scott trails off as Derek breaks the cuff. Confused, Scott turns to look at us.

"We'll help you."
