-Recap-

"The kanima is still killing and Derek is kinda going crazy trying to find it. And this next part is really gonna suck. Lydia brought Peter back from the dead. He's not an alpha anymore, thank God. But he's unfortunately alive. But that's about it. Hopefully we can wake you up soon. I love you."

I grin, easily falling asleep.

(Lyrica's P.O.V.)

"Lyrica... Lyrica. Wake up."

I force my eyes open, squinting at the bright lights. I look around in confusion, my eyes landing on two blurry figures in front of me.

"Hunter? Laura? What's going on?" I ask, referring to the bright light and blurriness.

"You're waking up, Lyrie." Laura chuckles.

"What? I'm not ready to leave you guys." I exclaim, sitting up. "Why can't I stay a little longer?"

"You're not meant to stay asleep, Sissy." Hunter pouts.

"I love you, Lyrica. Tell Derek I love him too. Let Isaac know that, even though I've never met him, I'm proud for him to be my nephew. I'll see you guys later." With those final words, Laura completely disappears in a flash of white.

"I'll miss you, Sissy." Hunter cries, hugging me. I can't help but cry too, holding him tight to me as the light grows brighter.

"I'll miss you too Bubba."

"I can't wait to see you and Derek again."

The white light consumes my vision and I close my eyes. They suddenly feel heavy and I fight to open them. My senses come back one at a time. A loud and annoying beeping fills my ears along with the sound of racing hearts. I feel needles in my skin and hands holding onto both of mine. I smell Derek and Isaac and Erica and Stiles and Boyd and Scott and overwhelming cleaner. I manage to move my toes, and then my fingers. It feels like fighting through clay, but I slowly wrap my fingers around the hands in mine. I finally drag my eyes open, groaning at the harsh white lights.

"Lyrica!" A voice exclaims and I open my eyes, rapidly blinking to focus my vision on the people in front of me.

"Stiles?" I ask, looking at the teen who has a hand on my ankle.

I look at Derek and Isaac, who are holding my hands. "Der? Icy?"

"Thank God." Erica exclaims and I can't help but laugh.

"How long have I been out?" I ask as Derek and Isaac help me sit up.

"A few weeks." Scott answers. "Your body had a bad reaction to the kanima venom."

"Does this mean Jackson is dead?" I ask and their eyes all widen. "I could hear everything you guys said while I was out."

After dozens of tests, they finally let me leave the hospital. Derek takes us out to the back of the hospital, where Erica and Boyd are sheepishly waiting.

"What's going on?" I ask, sticking my hands in my jacket pockets.

"We're leaving." Erica sighs. "Boyd and I heard another pack out in the woods."

"Why are you leaving? Are we not good enough?" I ask, tears filling my eyes.

"No, you're more than enough." Boyd instantly protests. "We just, we want to live a normal life. We don't want to be constantly worrying about dying. We're teenagers. Erica doesn't even have her license yet."

"While I hate you guys leaving," I start, tears falling. "I can't force you to stay."

"Thank you." They both mutter, tears streaking their cheeks as they hug me.

"You're always welcome here with us. And don't be strangers. At least call every once in a while." I say, ending the hug and wiping their tears. "I love you both. Be safe."

"We will, Lyrica. We love you too." With Erica's words, they both turn and run into the woods.

"You guys ready to head home?" Derek's voice breaks the silence.

"More than anything." Isaac and I both sigh before chuckling.

"Mom, did you really hear everything we said?" Isaac asks, holding my hand as we walk to the camaro.

"Yeah. It was really weird."

"How so?" Derek questions.

"I was back in Ohio with Hunter and Laura." I reply and Derek's heart skips a beat. "I was there with them the entire time."

"What did they say?" Isaac curiously asks.

"Laura says she loves you both, even though she's never met Isaac. And she's proud of both of you."

"I missed you, Mom." Isaac sighs and I grin.

"I missed you too, Sweetheart."

-The Next Morning-

(Lyrica's P.O.V.)

"Wake up, Lovebirds!" Peter Hale's obnoxiously annoying voice pulls me from my sleep and I open my eyes, glaring at him. "Ooh, purple and red glares. Scary."

"Peter, get out of my house." I snarl.

"Calm down. I come in peace." He smirks, leaning against the doorway.

"If you don't leave, I'm gonna get out of this bed and tear your throat out again." Derek growls from behind me.

"No you're not." Peter chuckles.

"And why is that?" I sigh.

"You're both indecent and you'd rather not show me your naked bodies."

"Why are you even here Peter?" I groan, turning around and hiding my face in Derek's chest.

"I found something you guys really need to see."

"If it's your nonexistent heart, we're not interested." Derek replies.

"It's at the old house."

"Get out so we can get dressed." I snap, knowing it's serious if it's at the Hale House.

"Perfect. I'll wake the baby." Peter says with a clap.

"Touch him and I'll shove my foot so far up your ass that you'll taste it for a week." I snarl, sitting up while lifting the covers to hide my body.

"Fine. Just hurry up." He finally leaves and Derek and I quickly dress ourselves.

--------------------------------------------------------

"You haven't told him everything yet, have you?" Peter asks as we gaze at the remnants of his home.

"What do you mean?" Isaac asks, turning to look at me and Derek.

"Why do you think your parents were in such a hurry to build their pack?" Peter questions the beta while leaning on a tree. "So eager to strengthen their power and number? When there's a new alpha, people take notice."

"People like who? What is this?" Isaac gestures to the door, walking up the stairs and stopping on the porch. "What does this mean?"

"It's their symbol. And it means they're coming." Derek answers his questions as we move closer.

"Who?"

"Alphas." I say, looking up at my son.

"More than one?"

"A pack of them." I sigh.

"An alpha pack. And they're not coming. They're already here." Peter butts in.

I sigh, looking at the triangular symbol on the door.
