Devon pushed him to his side and got herself cornered.
She was slightly dragged and rolled over five feet away from the bumper of the car.
Her face facing the floor, breathing so hard then tears flowing from her eyes like she was relieved or something.
She smiled while crying as she says this, “Sa lahat ng kabaitan mo Sam.. ang di mapantayang pagmamahal... buhay ko kaya kong ibigay sayo..”
After those words like all the regrets washed away from her body. Like giving her life to Sam is what she needs to make her deserving to him.
Then she can’t help but to close her eyes because maybe the effect of the impact.
Then as if the world continue to revolve again. People rushing to the site to help them.
The one who hit Devon get out to the car and help her while Sam was rushed to hospital by his friends.
Before they got to different ambulance, Sam managed to saw the other one who was lying to the stretcher.
He cried, helplessly he says “Wait for me...” enough to hear from two feet apart.
As Sam, was lodge inside the ambulance on the other hand Devon was awakened to the familiar voice she smiles a bit and went to sleep as if she’s dreaming.

It was months after the incident and they have fully recovered but they don’t have any means of communication at each other.
Only to find out that they were rushed to different hospital.
Sam went to cafeteria to find her, even to her apartment but Devon was not there either. She resigned from her job and move out from the house.
It was a busy day enrolment again at the University.
Every students is filing for the requirements patiently waiting in line. The girl in a curly hair was standing last and Sam approached her to ask some question.
“Excuse me Miss, ito ba yung pila for enrolment for Business Department? Sorry but I’m bit lost..”
When the girl face Sam, like the world stop again same moment at the night before.
Like all the waiting has paid off....
The girl nods and smiled beautifully,
“Devon?” Sam smiled back.
