When everything is calmed down they decided na umahon na kasi the water from the pool seems to be cooler dahil na siguro malalim na ang gabi.
Pinauna na ni Sam si Devon makaakyat then sumunod na si Sam at dali dali siya kumuha ng bathrobe para sa kanilang dalawa.
Siyempre tinulungan niya muna na magsuot si Devon. Then they went inside after they took shower sinamahan ni Sam si Devon sa laundry to washed her clothes at mapatuyo na din. So Devon was wearing only a bathrobe to cover herself.
Then Sam decided ipasyal siya sa kanyang study area and movie room na halos divider lang ang pagitan. Sinadya talaga ito para kapag tapos na siya sa paper works he could relax by watching movies by not going out pa sa room so the sliding doors make his life easy.
So Sam slide the doors open para kung gusto nila manood it would be easier na lang.
While si Devon was roaming around sa study table and sa mini library ni Sam. She stopped at thebookshelf kasi it caught her attention.
It was Sam with Coleen in their kiddo age. Sam noticed it kaya lumapit na din siya then explained out of nowhere,
“Coleen was my childhood friend. My family and her family ay magkasyosyo sa business before. We practically grew up together pero that was ONLY it. “ na parang enemphasize ang huling dalawang salita nito.
Nagulat naman si Devon sa ginawa ni Sam. Hindi niya ito inexpect pero parang gumaan na ang loob niya. Dahil kahit siya di niya kayang itanong kung ano ang namamagitan kay Sam at Coleen.
Then he went gently at the back and snugged himself to her neck and shoulders then embraced her from the back. He missed doing this to Devon.
Habang ng dalaga naman ay nagulat sa ginawa ni Sam then she remembers na bathrobe lang suot niya kaya she crossed her arms sa dibdib niya na parang she protect herself.
While Sam tightly embraced her arms at her waist and whispers to her ears, “I just miss you so.” It was sweetly said even Devon miss him too and his sweet and untiring efforts.
Then Sam grabbed something at his pocket and pops out at Devon’s right side. Sam was holding a cell phone, a Blackberry Curve latest unit same as his then he was handing it over to Devon.
While si Devon was confused she took it and maneuvered herself facing Sam, while ang binata just loosened a bit ang pagkakayakap pero not totally na binitawan ito, he just helped Devon to faced him,
“Para saan ito?” na parang hindi makapaniwala.
“A way to contact you.” Ngumiti naman si Sam.
“Pero meron naman ako cell phone.” Na parang di kayang matanggap ang binibigay ng binata.
“Just accept it. Your phone is synchronized to mine. So it would be easier for you to contact me.”
He gently grabs the phone from Devon’s hand and he was showing the what to do’s and applications then he handed it again to Devon.
“Don’t worry I applied for your plan by my name. So I am the one who will pay for your phone bills.” Na parang ni reassured ang dalaga.
She was going sana to protest pero di na pumayag si Sam at wala ng choice si Devon.
The two are still facing each other. Sam brushed his hand sa hair ni Devon then put it at the back of her ear. He was amazed by her simple beauty.
For him she’s perfect like a goddess. He gently kissed at her forehead. Then naalala ni Devon ang mga damit niya baka tuyo na kaya pumunta ulit sila sa laundry and then she went to a room para magbihis and Sam decided na ihatid na siya sa kanyang apartment dahil gabi na rin.
While at the car hindi maitatago ang sayang nararamdaman ni Sam dahil bati na sila ni Devon. She’s everything that matters to him now. To his life.
Tsaka magiging ok na rin ang paggawa nila ng report for the upcoming debate sa school dahil bati na sila.
Then they safely arrived sa apartment ni Devon he reminded her nasusunduin niya ito tomorrow morning,
“See you tomorrow morning.” Saad ni Sam kay Devon. Ngumiti naman si Devon at tumango.
When she’s about to get out the car, pinigilan niya ito habang hinahawakan ang kamay ni Devon, nagulat at napaupo pabalik ang dalaga at nilingon si Sam.
Then Sam quickly kissed her at her lips and said, “Goodnight.” Di naman nakaimik sandali si Devon pero bago pa siya bumaba sa sasakyan she said goodnight too kay Sam.
Hinintay naman ng binata makapasok ito sa kanyang apartment bago ito umalis.
