He is sure that something is going on. Pero parang ayaw iyong pag-usapan ng dalaga.Ibinalik niya ang atensyon sa daan. His mind is clouded with new information too, thanks to Carlos.
“Jameson, I got a new data for you. A woman registered under the name Iyah Famini has arrived in the country two days ago.”
Binundol ng mumunting kaba ang dibdib niya. For 21 years, sa wakas.
“I’ll be using my connections to get another information for you. I’ll send it to you by email,” muling sabi ni Carlos sa kabilang linya.
“Okay. Thank you so much, Carlos.”
“How about the other Famini? What are you planning to do? She might be hurt.”
He pinched the bridge of his nose. Yeah, his heart feels weird every time he is with Idelaide. He can't still understand that freaking organ.
Litong lito na din siya. Sinubukan niyang kapain ang puso niya. And he is sure that Iyah still hold a piece of his heart.
“Yes, I know Carlos. I got your point. Don’t worry, I’ll end it well after I played a bit.”
A fang of pain bit something inside of him. Is he still playing? Is he playing Idelaide? Confusion is eating him alive. A part of him regrets what he said.
Nagpakawala siya ng malalim na buntong hininga. His initial plan was to penetrate Idelaide and discard her like nothing happened.
But he doesn't want to. He doesn't want to discard her. He wants to keep her for herself.
Wake up, Jameson. You cannot keep both of them. You know that very well. Sigaw ng isip niya.
“Just inform me right away if you got any update about Iyah Famini.”
“Got it. I just hope that you know what you are doing, Jameson. In the end, you need to decide who to keep and who to dispose. Any other way, one of them will be hurt,” ibinaba na nito ang tawag.
Ngunit kapag nagpakatino iyon, masakit magsalita. Sometimes he can even sense that Carlos is hiding something but he chose to shut his mouth.
“Jameson.”
“You’ll see soon.”
