IVY'S POV
*i wake up in joey's bed and rub my eyes. he was next to me so i roll into his side and close my eyes again as i hold onto the necklace he gave me. i can't leave this necklace and the only time i want to ever take it off is if i shower or swim. i lay there thinking about my sister and before i know it, a few tears are running down my cheeks. i sniffle a couple times and wipe them away before turning the other way and looking at the wall. joey wakes up one of the times i sniffle and gets worried. he wraps his arms around me, only causing me to cry more.*

joey- what's wrong baby? take deep breaths

ivy- i j-just miss h-her..

joey- skylar?

ivy- y-yeah

joey- if i knew the necklace would make you feel this way, i wouldn't have gotten it baby. i'm sorry

ivy- no no. i love it

*i look at him and sniffle. he wipes my tears with the pads of his thumbs and kiss my swollen lips softly. i kiss back and lay my head on his chest. he plays with my hair and i close my eyes, still holding onto my necklace.*

joey- i think my mom is going to take us shopping today so that you can have the empty room that is next door to mine

ivy- okay. i better get ready then

joey- it's only 9 baby. we can lay here and watch tv if you want

ivy- can we please?

joey- yeah of course

*i turn on vampire diaries and start watching the last episode. joey watches with me and i explain to him what has happened and who everyone is. eventually he gets into it, making me giggle because he's so focused. i play with his fingers and listen to everyone talking on the show. once the episode is over, i sit up and stretch.*

joey- do you want to take a shower first?

ivy- i don't care, it's up to you

joey- you can go. i'll make my bed and tidy up my room

ivy- it's not that dirty

joey- eh just the clothes and some dishes

ivy- okay mr. clean

*he laughs at my joke as i smile to myself and walk into the bathroom. i turn on the water before i wash my face and brush my teeth in order to have it heat up. i undress and lock the bathroom door before walking into the shower and getting my hair wet. i shave my legs, wash and condition my hair, and rinse my body. after i got dressed, i brushed my hair and did my skincare. joey got ready after me and i sat on his bed watching youtube videos while waiting for him. he came out without a shirt on, probably to make me look at him and i think i drooled a little. he smiles while walking over to me and i smile back.*

joey- ready to eat breakfast?

ivy- yeah after i give you something

joey- what is it?

ivy- well i never got to give you your gift yesterday so i thought i'd give it to you now
