IVY'S POV
*i wake up to joey's alarm and sit up, rubbing my eyes. i see him sit up beside me and he pulls me into a hug. i yawn and hug back, laying my head on his shoulder.*

joey- do you want your favorite breakfast this morning?

ivy- if you don't mind making it

joey- i'll make it once we get ready

ivy- okay baby, i'm going to go get ready

joey- i am too princess, don't take too long

ivy- i don't take thatt long

joey- eh sometimes

*i giggle as i stand up and his hands slip off my waist. i walk into my bathroom and do my normal routine. i shower, wash my hair and body, do my skincare, braid my hair, and get dressed. i chose to wear black high-waisted jeans and one of joey's hoodies since it was going to be cold today. i brush my teeth and put my vans on before i grab my backpack and walk downstairs. i see joey cooking in the kitchen so i walk over to sophia and start talking to her.*

ivy- morning soph

sophia- morning

ivy- how is school going for you?

sophia- it's good. i have a group of friends that i can really rely on

ivy- that's amazing. high school is where you really find yourself and who is your true friend

sophia- yeah i've noticed some fake people. i have a question for you though. it's about joey

ivy- ask me

sophia- do you think him and i could have a day just to me and him? i really miss hanging out with him all the time... i don't want to take you away from him. i just miss my older brother

ivy- of course you can sophia. i'll tell him okay? you guys can hang out all day saturday since i will have homework

sophia- really?! you're being serious

ivy- i know what it feels like when an older sibling spends more time with someone else. i don't want you to go through that as bad as i did

sophia- thank you so much ivy. i love you

ivy- you're welcome. i love you too

*i smile and hug her before walking over to the kitchen. joey puts our plates down and sits next to me.*

ivy- babe, this looks delicious. i never knew you could cook

joey- oh shut it, you know i can

ivy- you're not wrong

*i giggle and we both start eating. when we finish, i rinse our plates off and grab the car keys. he puts his shoes on and tells sophia we are leaving. all three of us get in the car and i start driving to school.*

ivy- sophia you should tell joey what we talked about

sophia- are you sure?
