It'a been a week since I've told Ned that I knew Parker's secret and now he's avoiding me too. So I have ZERO friends. Yay. Back to square one.
Betty, a girl from my decathlon team has being talking to me a lot throughout this week, and I think we will be great friends. To be honest she's always been nice to me, I just never talked to her because I didn't want to.
We FaceTime a lot and she's become my right hand in the decathlon team. She makes sure that everything's in order and that the tasks get completed while I'm not there. She's like the co-captain per say. She informs me of who attends the meetings and who doesn't. Like always Parker never shows up.
Today the team is suppose to come to the Tower and everyone is super hyped or so I've heard from Betty.
[Betty]: *We're on our way :)*
[Me]: *Great. Can't wait to see you guys!*
[Betty]: *ME TOO! I'm super excited to see you,maybe when you're leg is better we can go to this new Cafe that just opened last week. I've heard good things about it and there's a little booth for people to read. It's awesome*
[Me]: *Sounds like my natural habitat, I love it already!*
[Betty]: *they should rename it the 'MJ Cafe' 😂
[Me]:*Not gonna lie that place would sounds awesome 👏🏼*
[Betty]:*100%. MJ I wanted to ask you a question.*
[Me]: *yeah sure what's up?*
[Betty]: *What do you think about Ned? Do you like him?
[Me]:*Ned is an awesome dude. Yes he might be nerdy but he happens to have a heart of gold. He's a rare human and he extremely selfless and loyal. Of course I like Ned, that's why he's my friend.*
[Betty]: *No I mean, do you like-like him? Do you have CRUSH on Ned?*
[Me]:*Oh lmaoooo! NO I do not have a crush on Ned, he's my best friend but our friendship is 100% platonic. And trust me when I say the feeling is MUTUAL on behalf of both parties 😂. Why the sudden question?*
[Betty]:*uh-umm no reason. I was just curious that's all*
[Me]: *OH MY GOSH—you like Ned Betty. And you like-like him. You're crushing on Ned. TJJHGSJKF–*
[Betty]:*I might have a tiny crush on him? Yes. Do you think he likes me?
[Me]: *ARE YOU KIDDING!? He's been crushing on you for like years Betty. He most definitely 10000% likes you.*
[Betty]:*oh my gosh. Are you serious? I'm blushing and smiling so hard rn . Don't play with me MJ*
[Me]:*LOL. I'm not messing with you. You should talk to him about it Betty. Trust me when I say that he likes you.
[Betty]:*I will. Maybe I'll talk to him today. Since the Tower has everyone excited and distracted. I'll be easier to get him away from Peter*
[Me]:*Definitely. Let me know how it goes. I'll ttyl. I need to make sure everything is ready for your arrival. See you soon :)*
[Betty]:*I'll see you soon 💕*
"Hey MJ, are you ready?" Pepper asked knocking on my door.
"Yes I am. Thank you so much again for letting me do this. It means the world to me" I said giving her a smile.
"Of course" she said giving me a side hug.
"Happy while make sure everyone is settle in and I'll have Melissa, one of my interns give you guys a tour" Pepper said.
"Sound good" I said smiling. I grabbed my crutches and lifted myself up.
I don't wanna brag but I'm getting really good at this.
"I see you're therapy is going well" Pepper notes smiling proudly at me.
"It is" i said giving a soft smile of my own.
"Happy just informed me that your school bus just arrived. Let's go" she said walking out the door.
I'm so nervous. Nervous to see Ned and Parker now that they know I know Peter's Spider-Man.
As he reached the entrance of the tower, you could see the happiness and excitement in everyone's face. As they approach the door, their eyes widen and their gaze focused on the person that was standing right beside me.
Pepper Potts.
"It's Pepper Potts" you can hear kids whisper
"Peter so nice to see you again" Pepper acknowledged him.
"You know Parker?" Flash asked in utter disbelief.
"Of course I do, he works with my husband through the Stark Internship" Pepper informed him smiling proudly.
"So the Stark Intership is real?" Flash asked.
"Of course it is, it's just a rare intership granted to very bright and special individuals like Mister Parker" she said.
"Where can I apply?" Flash asked with a cocky attitude.
"We are actually not taking any new applicants right now young man. Thank you for your interest, I'm sure you'll find something" she said smiling
"But–" Flash began complaining.
"Flash just shut up for once in your life and be nice"I scolded glaring at him.
"Well if it isn't our Captain? Long time no see Michelle?" Flash said smirking at him.
"Oh and how blissful it was to not see your face everyday." I said sarcastically.
"Keep denying your feelings for me" He stated his pride the size of Texas.
"Trust if I could get rid of the constant feeling of nausea I get every time I see you I would. Sadly that's my body's reaction to toxic stuff, it just wants to throw them up" I said smiling at him evilly.
"Hello everybody my name is Melissa, and I will be your tour guide for today. Good morning Miss Pepper" Melissa greeted when she approached us.
"Well I will see you guys in a near future I hope" Pepper stated hugging me.
"Don't kill the 'Flash' kid, he is very potentially high sue" She laughed.
"No promises" I smiled.
"Go get 'em" She whispered sweetly before walking away.
"Bye Peter see you later" she said waving at him.
"See you later Pepper" he called out.
I refused to turn my head his direction. It was so extremely hard.
"MJ Hey how are you doing?" Betty asked as she approached me and hugged me. I had to bend a little because she was kinda short and the hug was awkward cause I couldn't bend all the way fue to my knee.
" I promise I'll give you a proper hug when I fully recover" I laughed.
"You better. How are you feeling?" She asked.
"I'm feeling great. My mom and my brother came to visit yesterday and that made me so happy" I smiled sweetly.
"Aw that's so great. Your mom is the sweetest person I know. She came by the school a couple days ago to make sure there weren't any issues with your school schedule and classes" she informed.
"Yes my mom is the best." I said.
"Alrighty kids we will start the tour with the first floor. That's we're faculty members including myself work" she said. She scanned a card
"Melissa Coleman. Level access granted. Intern of Pepper Potts" F.R.I.D.A.Y informed.
As the students piled up in the elevator Friday would identify them.
"Welcome back Peter? Shall I inform Mister Stark of your arrival?" F.R.I.D.A.Y asked.
"No thank you. I'm here on a school trip." Peter spoke up.
"Very well. I will not contact Mister Stark" F.R.I.D.A.Y stated.
"I will take the other elevator, come on Betty" I said checking how packed the elevator was.
"Do you need access?" Melissa asked
"No I got it" I heard an all too familiar voice say.
Tony Stark.
"Mr.Stark good morning" I greatly kindly.
"Good morning young lady. Where is Peter?" Tony asked scanning the elevator.
"Right here Sir" Parker said pushing pass some kids to get out, Bailey holding tightly to his hand like he was some sort of trophy.
I hate her.
"Well come with me. We will meet you all floor one is it?" Tony asked.
"Yes Mr.Stark" Melissa informed.
"I haven't been there since I first opened this place" Tony laughed.
Betty who was standing next to me was completely shock. I nudged her slightly to snap her out of daze.
"Well who is this?" Stark asked looking at Betty and she grew pale.
Get it together girl and represent!
"Uh this is Betty. My friend from decathlon team" I informed.
"Such an honor to meet you Sir. I've been a fan of your work my whole life." She said while stony shook her hand.
She looked ready to pass out.
"Betty chill out it's just Mr.Stark" I stated simply.
"Who also happens to be one of the greatest heroes in history" she whispered beside.
"Fair enough" I said.
"Tony is so nice to see you again" Bailey spoke once the elevator doors closed.
"Please call me Stark" he said looking at her.
"Uh umm this is my girlfriend Bailey" Peter said once she elbowed him.
"How long have you guys been a couple?" Tony asked clearly disinterested.
"Oh about 3 months" she stated proudly.
"I remember my first girlfriend lasted about the same time" tony said looking at her smiling.
Her smile disappear and turned into a poker face.
"MJ leg okay? Do you need someone to bring you a wheel chair?" Stark asked looking at my leg.
"I'm okay for now Mr.Stark. Thank you" I said smiling at him.
"Let me know if your answer changes" he said smiling.
"So Betty what are you planning to major in?" Stark asked as he chose to ignore the suffocating tensing in the atmosphere.
" I want to major in science and technological engineering" she informed.
"If you ever need a letter of reference, Miss Potts will gladly write you one" Stark informed as the elevator opened
"Thank you Sir" she said looking at me in utter shock a smile so big I feared she would break her jaw.
"Alrighty kids. I will leave Miss Coleman to guide  you through the Avengers Tower." Stark said patting Peter's back and squeezing my shoulder gently.
"See you later kiddos" he said looking at Peter and then looking at me.
"Watch the leg" Tony said pointing at my leg and I nodded.
As soon as he left. Betty lost her cool
"I JUST MET IRON MAN" she exclaimed happily hugging tightly from the side.
"The leg Betty the leg" I winced in my pain from her body weight pressing against my leg.
"Sorry sorry"she said.
"Alrighty. Now that you are all here let's get started" Melissa said.

It is FRIDAY! You know what that means.... NEW chapter! I really hope you enjoy it.
