Serenity
Being on the back of Hunter's bike was what I needed, my body pressed against him, the softness of his Harley's leather seat under me while the rumbling of the engine drowned out the rest of the world. All my worries blew away even if it was for just a moment.
I was still processing what had happened but just being with Hunter made everything at ease and I was just glad that he took me out of his room. If I had stayed there I would have gone insane. People died and people were saved. These past months have been hell and now they were over... I don't know how I will transition into not having to look over my shoulder anymore. What do I even say to my mom?
Hunter told 'he got me' in his usual way and I believe him, he promised he will spend the rest of his life making up for doubting me and I am giving him that chance. Plus when I saw Hamlet as we headed to his bike he told me if I wanted Hunter dead he will help me hide his body to which Hunter had agreed.
Remious was still alive but I trusted the club in saying that he will be dead by the end of this week and I am sure it won't be a fast death. After a twenty minute drive Hunter pulled up to a small two story house and shut off his bike in front of it. For some reason this place looked familiar and then it struck me.
"This is one of the places I was looking at." I hopped off the bike and looked at him bewildered. I had forgotten I was looking at new apartments or houses to rent over the last week, it felt as if it was ages ago.
"Ya this one seemed the best out of the two you were looking at," He said simply walking me up to the door taking out a key and opening up the house, leading me over the threshold. "Nice kitchen, could knock down a wall that would open the kitchen to the dining room. And a good backyard for that dog you want. Not to mention close to the clubhouse which will be good once you live here since brothers will mostly come over a lot to ask advice from you." He shrugged.
"My advise?"
"Mhm women troubles, club troubles, personal identities, anything really. I have already heard a couple brothers mention it." He shrugged again then motioned me to walk more into the house.
God do I loved those boys. I didn't know what I did to make them think to come to me for advice, hell I barely have my life together but it was probably better they tried coming to me then each other. Who knew the kind of trouble they get into because someone told it to them as 'advise'.
"Mhm, love the man take the club." I gave him a kiss before walking around the place. "Wait, these are my things?"
The house truly was a gorgeous little nook, a homely feel that I had wanted to be a part of every day. Looking around I saw the little possessions I owned that were at my apartment over the bakery, or supposed to.
"The brothers brought them over when I got the place." He began as his hand rubbed his neck nervously when I looked at him. As if he was worried that I didn't like the place or that he went ahead and got the place, wait he got the place? "I see your rolling that lips of yours so I suggest you stop before I take you right here on this kitchen island."
I blushed at that, I truly did want him to take me on that kitchen island but not at the moment I wanted to see more of this house. Quickly, I headed to the glass doors that went to the backyard to distract against the warming between my thigh hearing him chuckle.
"You got the place?" I took a step outside into the backyard looking at the scenery behind the house. We need a talk before accepting this. All the facts laid out.
