Friday morning I was more excited than I'd ever let anyone else know about. I had my alarm set especially on my current favourite song and a bit earlier than usual so I could make myself look extra good for school.
I put on a bit more makeup than usual, straightened my hair and spritzed myself with Victoria's Secret Strawberries and Champagne. I decided to catch the bus since my car was parked in front of my mum's and I couldn't get out of the driveway.
The bus stop was just up the street, I was not the only one there. There was this girl with hair dyed pastel pink hair which looked amazing. I couldn't stop staring.
I sat closer to the front of the bus than the back on a seat alone, my bag sitting next to me.
I popped my earphones in and decided to shuffle my whole playlist and see what happened. Trust "Pray" by Justin to come on while I was in this good mood. I shuffled again and one of my old favourite Fergie songs came on so I just decided to leave it.
I had become immersed in the music and, being completely honest, my thoughts about Ashton so it shocked me when I heard my bag clunk onto the floor and the seat next to me unsteadily sink down.
A smile was evident on Ashton's face.
"Hey." he nudged me. It was pondering how one other human being could make me feel this way. He gave me huge butterflies whenever I thought of him and my heart leapt whenever he looked at me.
"Hey" I replied, nudging him back in the same way. I wondered what the heck he was doing when his arm reached across my body, until he yanked one of the earphones out of my ear and put it in his own.
"Oh my god, no." he said when he realised what song I was listening to. Embarassingly, "Never Say Never" by Justin Bieber was playing at that moment. He grabbed my phone and shuffled it. "Super Bass" by Nicki Minaj came on, another embarrassing one, but he surprised me by not changing it.
Ashton was cracking me up by perfectly rapping all the words and doing little actions during the chorus as well. One Direction came on next and I stopped Ashton as he went to change it. He rolled his eyes at me but left it.
He grabbed my phone off me, unlocked it, and started swiping through.
"What are you doing?" I questioned.
He didn't answer but I leaned over and saw him open an app.
"Doodle Jump, seriously?" I tried again.
"Yes! Oh my gosh I missed this game." He said as he was flicking through the different settings.
"Should I do the soccer one or the underwater one?" he asked me.
"The space one's the best one, do that one." I told him. It was funny how he took this so heavily.
"Hmm, yeah. I like the space one. Im doing the space one." he decided, pressing play.
"Okay."
I watched Ashton play a few games on every single different mode of doodle jump and commentate himself as he did so. We went through quite a few more of the embarrassing songs on my phone before arriving at school.
There was still fifteen minutes until roll call so I ordered coffee from the canteen.
"Tastes like shit." I remarked, after my coffee had cooled down enough so I could drink it with out roasting my tongue.
"Ahhh, horseshit," Ashton said in an awful attempt at a French accent, "I told you it sucked." he said returning back to his usual voice.
"Where art thou going?" I questioned him. We were aimlessly walking around the school.
