5 Seconds of Summer were back in the country but so were One Direction. Not back in fact, they would be here for the very first time shortly.
I was counting down the days until my concert now.
Four to go.
Four.
Four.
Everyone was probably a bit sick of hearing about them. Ashton copped it the worst for sure, but he also took it the best.
Luke had asked me over so that where I was now, with four days until 1D.
I realised now that never had I spent time alone with any of the boys apart from Ashton. But it ended up being totally fine, Luke was very cute and a lot of fun. I hadn't yet met his mum, Liz, but she sounded like a babe from what I'd heard the other boys say. She kept 'checking up' on us as well.
"She thinks you're my secret gf or something." Luke said. I laughed at how he called it 'gf.'
It was almost a 40 degree day so we just mucked around in the pool a bit.
I finally met Liz when she came out with two glasses of iced water in her hands.
"Hey mum. This is Callie." He gestured to me and I waved.
"Callie? I'm Liz! How are you?"
"I'm really brilliant." I answered with a smile.
"You're from England. You're kidding! Beautiful accent, beautiful."
"Hah, thanks." I said.
"Mum." Luke groaned.
"There's nothing to be ashamed of honey. She's gorgeous." she told Luke. Then she turned to me. "How is he treating you?"
"Uh-mm.." I started, being cut off by Luke almost yelling.
"Mum! I said her name is Callie," he put a certain emphasis on my name implying it should have more meaning to Liz than it did.
"Callie? Yes you told me son." She fluttered.
"Ashton's girlfirend." he let out a frustrated sigh.
"Ash! Awww, isn't he the most lovely boy ever?" she asked me, "I bet he is wonderful to you."
I nodded and smiled smugly "He is." I admitted.
"I am so proud of him. You let him know that don't you. You and him are just the most beautiful two people ever." she gushed, a
reminding me of my own mum.
"Mum." Luke complained, he was a tad embarrassed I could tell.
"You are gorgeous too Lukey, and when you find her, your girl might be almost as pretty as Callie!"

When neither of us could take another drop of chlorine, we went to his room and put the fan on high. Luke. Was passionate about YouTube. He was the one who had made hemmo1996. But really he was more going around watching very boyish videos on it. I assumed most of them were the kinds that he watched everyday and made very member of his family watch it multiple times. A few were okay, they were music videos and interviews of bands. Others, were those shockingly boring epic fail videos where people attempt stupid things on skateboards.
