"Well I don't care if you don't want to, you're going out with me," Alex said through the phone.
"I just really don't feel like it Alex," I said with a sigh.
"Are you and Matt still not talking about it?" She questioned.
"Yeah," I answered.
"Then come with me to the mall," she said in a 'duh' tone.
"No."
"Okay, then you really need to go to the mall with me. Not once have you ever said no to shopping. Do you have a fever? Clarissa!" Alex screamed through the phone so loud I had to pull it away from my ear. "Come check Lauren's temperature!"
She would've kept yelling so I cut her off saying that I'd go. I could use some therapy at the moment, and nothing does that besides shoes.
"Great! Meet me there in an hour?" Alex asked me.
"Sure," I replied sighing and then groaned realizing I'd have to get out of bed and actually look presentable.
.
.
"Well don't you look cute," Alex said as I walked to our arranged meeting spot.
I wore a tiger print crop top (black and white), black leather ankle boots, and a starry night asymmetric skirt. My hair was in loose curls and I had light purple eyeshadow combination on my eyes which was entitled "Stars and Rockets" on the back. "Why thank you," I replied curtsying.
"Ready to go shopping?"
"Oh, I'm always ready to go shopping," I said with a small chuckle.
"Let's go then," she said giving me her arm and I gladly took it.
Alex and I shopped for three hours before we decided to take a break and see a movie.
"Ooh, what about Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs?" Alex questioned.
"I just saw that with Ellie," I sighed. Let me tell you this, I didn't hear the end of it when I told Clarissa I took Ellie to see that. Clarissa was apparently looking forward to seeing it. "Oh I know, Don Jon," I said wiggling my eyebrows.
"Ooh, I like your taste," she said grinning.
Okay, Don Jon was seriously a great movie, I'd rate it an 8.5.
"That was an ah-mazing movie," Alex said laughing as we walked out the theatre doors and into the lobby.
"Hey guys," we heard a voice say. Scott.
"Hi Scott," I said with a small smile.
"Hi Lauren. Alex," he replied.
Well...this was pretty awkward.
