Ugh, why did it have to be three in the morning? I had to leave Matt's house at 3:30 so I could get to the airport by four. My text tone "keys" rang. Who the hell is texting me at three in the morning?!
Miranda: Hey, just making sure you're up. Ellie, Clarissa, your dad and I will be at airport at 4:15. Are you driving yourself?
I heard the shower turn off emerging Matt shirtless with a towel around his lower body. "Hey."
"Hey, you're still driving me right?" I asked and he nodded.
Me: Yup, I've never hated the morning this much before...and okay great! No, Matt's driving me.
Miranda: Me too! Okay, drive safely
"Can we talk about last night?" Matt asked me out of nowhere while we drove to the airport.
"What about it?"
"I just can't stop thinking about how I hurt you. I just feel so bad!" Matt exclaimed.
"Babe stop blaming yourself for all of this. Even if it wasn't you, I would've gotten hurt! Matt it's just please stop apologizing," I said.
"Sorry," he said and I laughed.
.
.
"I'll miss you, sissy!" Ellie exclaimed as she hugged me tighter. Geez, she has a strong grip for a four year old.
"I'll miss you too!" I replied. Clarissa and I hugged goodbye and she said if I didn't bring her something back she'd take my closet key for a month. How dare she?
Then it was Miranda and my dad. I'm surprised my dad didn't get a little teary eyed. Love you to, dad.
I wrapped my arms around Matt's neck and hugged him for at least a minute. Why couldn't he fit into my suitcase? "I love you."
"I love you too, baby."
"I have to go," I said as my flight was being called. My eyes started to feel heavy and I soon felt tears rolling down. "Bye."

"Welcome to San Francisco, it is currently 8:25 am Monday, November 18, 2013. The crew and I would like to thank all you for joining us today. Have a great day."
You know, when I dreamed of going to Sydney, Australia, I wasn't dreaming about having to wait fourteen hours to actually get on a plane to Australia. Although, the people said the other student from the west coast was going to be on the same plane as me; they'd get to San Francisco at nine.
So I just sat at the gate that the Australia plane was going to leave for. He or she was supposed to be here in five minutes.
"Hi, I'm sorry if this is weird, but are you the other person from Nation Law Study?" A guy my age questioned me.
"Yeah. You're four minutes early," I replied checking my phone. "I'm Lauren Michaels." Woah, he was cute.
"Brody Weeler," he said smiling. "So we have thirteen hours to spare, what do you want to do?"
"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm starving!" I exclaimed and stood up. "Wanna eat at the restaurant down there? It's on me."
"Yeah, sure."
.
.
"Oh my god, you did not just say that!" I exclaimed laughing.
"What? A guy can't like Teen Wolf?" He asked joining my laughter.
"Not straight ones!" I exclaimed.
"Well it's a good thing I'm gay then," he replied. "You know right?"
"Of course. No guy wears Ralph Lauren like that unless he's gay," I added.
"You're my new best friend," he said and I smiled. I've always wanted a GBF. Don't you dare start talking about the movie.
Brody and I had a lot in common. We both liked designer brands, the same taste in music, our favorite colors were matching! And he loved rhinestones! He just never used them. I have a feeling he'd make a great lawyer and a great wedding dress designer. He was from San Jose, California, a senior in high school and this was his second year of going to this program. Last year it was in Greece.
