The bus finally got us here Saturday afternoon around one, and let's just say I sprinted to get off that bus, and might have pushed three guys out of my way. I wanted to go take an actual shower and lay on any floor I'd like because I knew for a fact that Nina cleaned it this morning! Nina is our housekeeper if you didn't understand that...
"Hey, Laur, we're going to Scott's house to stay the night if you want to come," Alex informed me.
"Yeah sure, just let me get a few things from my house and then I'll walk on over," I replied and got into my car with Matt and drove towards my house.
"Well I don't know about you, but I'm taking a shower!" Matt exclaimed as we entered my house.
"Same here, just use the guest bathroom okay? Love you," I said and pecked him on the lips as I quickly ran up the stairs.
You have no idea how good it felt to take a shower! To put on sweats and a sweater and fuzzy socks was just heaven right now. I packed a bag with my makeup and toothbrush and that stuff and then I picked my outfit for tomorrow and zipped the bag shut. Finally, I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs to wait for Matt.
"How was the trip Lauren?" Miranda asked me as I walked into the kitchen.
"Eventful," I replied with a chuckle.
"I saw on the school website that they won," she said and I nodded.
"Hey," Matt said walking in and put his arm around my waist.
"Well, we're staying the night at Scott's, so I guess I'll see you tomorrow," I said and hugged her goodbye. On my way out I gave Ellie a hug too. Clarissa and my dad weren't here so oh well.

"Hey kids," Natalya, Scott's mom said as we walked into the living room.
"Hi," we replied in unison.
"What's up Mr. B?" Matt asked nodding towards Brendon, Scott's step-father.
"Oh my god! Lauren! Alex!" Tara, Scott's sister exclaimed. She graduated a year early and took a year off from college.
"Tara!" I exclaimed running towards her. "I thought you moved to LA."
"I did, but I was visiting for mom's birthday."
"We miss you so much!" Alex exclaimed pulling Tara in for a hug.
"Well it looks like I'll be seeing you more often. You and my brother, huh? You could do so much better," she replied shaking her head.
"She can't do better," Scott said kissing Alex's cheek.
"Oh trust me I can," Alex joked.
