CHAPTER FOUR
The very moment I opened my eyes, I was greeted with a headful of bubblegum pink hair and a pair of the most beautiful green orbs I have ever seen. Her face broke into a smile when she realized I was awake.
"You must be Tenten," she started. "Sorry about waking you up. I'm Sakura Haruno,"
With a yawn, I sat up and shook her outreached hand. I looked around the room and found Hinata nowhere. I returned my gaze to Sakura and saw that she was already wearing her sailor uniform. It has a white blouse with a navy blue sailor-style collar and a navy blue pleated skirt which ended inches above her knees. Her legs were clad in knee-length white socks. A maroon ribbon is tied in the front and laced through a loop attached to the blouse.
"Hinata's taking a bath. You can go after her. Then, we'll go down to breakfast together," Sakura continued as she walked towards her desk and put a few books in her bag.
I nodded and stood up. I started doing my morning stretches which gathered a look of curiosity from my pink companion. I just shrugged and smiled. Since I probably won't be able to keep up my training for a while, I had to make do with a few indoor exercises.
Just as I was about to finish, Hinata came out of the bathroom wearing a uniform like Sakura. I quickly took a towel out of my drawer and some clothes.
"You don't have a uniform yet?" Sakura asked as she looked at the clothes in my hands.
I shook my head. "Shizune said there had been some problems with sizes so they sent it back,"
"Well, I'm excited to see you wearing our uniform," Hinata said as she too took a few books from her desks.
I laughed. Well, I wasn't. I quickly entered the bathroom and groaned. The damn thing was as big as my bedroom back home. I stripped and started showering; taking a mental note that I'll be taking a soak in that comfortable-looking bathtub as soon as possible.
I hadn't stayed much longer inside the shower since Hinata and Sakura were waiting for me. I dried myself, blow-dried my hair and rolled them into two Chinese buns. Then, I changed into a black skinny jeans, a long, white polo which I left unbuttoned, and a black shirt underneath.
Once I was done, I went back into the room. I picked up my bag which I had already prepared the night before and met up with the two by the door. Hinata was also wearing her uniform. The only difference was she chose to also wear her navy blue vest. She smiled at me as she opened the door and Sakura gave me a once over. I raised a brow at her and she just shrugged.
Weird girl.
Since I was the last one out, I locked the door behind me and followed my roommates towards the stairs. Hinata and Sakura talked while I just mostly listened. I wasn't really interested in academics. Not like I wasn't cut out for it but with Pein and Itachi, I'd say I've already mostly tackled the subjects these guys are currently learning.
Those two were cutthroat when it came to my education. I reminisced with a groan; remember those dark days. I stopped walking when I realized that Sakura and Hinata were staring at me funnily.
"What?" I asked, trying to remember if they asked me a question or not.
Hinata shook her head. "You're been groaning since earlier. Are you sick, Tenten?"
I shook my head at them and gave them a smile. "I'm fine. Just thinking 'bout home,"
Thinkin' bout me. Thinking' bout us, what we gon' be.... Admit it. You've sung that as well. If not, then I'm just weird.
