"Hindi ka ba talaga nakikinig?! I said I don't want to see you in my room!"

Bea yelled at me for the nth time today.

Pinipilit ko kasi siyang lumabas ng bahay nila and stroll in the village pero ang ate niyo, pusong bato pa rin.

"Come on Bea. There's nothing wrong if you'll try to go out of your room. This even helps you to relax--"

"Mas nakakairata ka, pwede ba? Just go away. Wag kang magpapakita sa akin! It's much better than I see your face everytime of the day!"

I breathed heavily.

Calm your nerves Jhoana. Wag kang magpapadala sa mga mapanakit niyang salita kahit na nakakapikon na.

"Don't worry, ako na ang tutulak ng wheel chair mo, and nagpaalam naman na ako kila tita--"

"Shut the fvck up!! I don't want you, pushing my wheel chair out of this room!!"

Bigla akong napaatras ng sigawan niya ako.

I was about to walk to her but she yelled once again.

"Don't you dare go near me! Or else ako mismo ang aalis sa wheel chair na to!"

Agad naman akong nabahala sa sinabi niya. Few leg movements and her injuries might be more aggrevated.

Pero leche lang dahil nauubusan na talaga ako ng pasensya sa katigasan ng ulo ng taong to.

Lord, pwede bang sapakin ko na to?! Hindi ko na keri tong pinapakita niya sakin!

I inhaled and exhaled before I spoke. "Bahala ka kung anong gusto mong gawin sa sarili mo. Basta ako, bilang doktor mo, gusto ko lang namang tumulong na gumaling ka para hindi na ako magtagal dito sa bahay niyo, at para hindi mo na rin makita ang pagmumukha ko."

She just stared at me emotionlessly.

So I made an eye-contact with her even if her eyes were actually very intimidating because no doubt, she's got the charm kahit pa bahagyang pumayat ang mukha niya.

I waited for her to respond but she didn't. She might didn't blink even.

I was already touching the door knob when she spoke.

Napalingon naman agad ako sa kanya at tinaasan ulit siya ng kilay. Aba, maka-hoy to ah!

"Jhoana is MY name, hindi HOY!" naiinis kong sagot dito.

"Tss. Whatever." she rolled her eyes on me.

Aba walang-hiya to ah?! Papatulan ko na talaga to eh!

"Ano ba yun, ha?!" tinarayan ko pa lalo but she doesn't seem intimidated.

She even raised her eyebrow but still her face is expressionless.

"Make sure you lock the door when you go out." she straightly said tsaka niya ibinaling ang tingin niya sa bintana.

"Edi wow!" I whispered to myself tsaka lumabas ng kwarto niya.
