"BEA!!!!!"
I literally held my breath when the fast car passed by already.
Napahawak ako sa mga tuhod ko because I am already tired of running.
"Bea!" naabutan ako ni kuya Loel pero nilagpasan niya ako kaya napatingin ako sa dinaanan niya.
Si Bea... She was safe. But how?!
Napatakbo naman ulit ako at sinundan si kuya Loel and I saw Bea on her wheelchair safely pero agad ko ring napansin ang isang lalaking naka-dapat sa daan.
"Kuya... May tao..." kinalabit ko si kuya Loel tsaka naman gumalaw yung tao at napa-upo.
"Ouch." he uttered.
"Thirdy?" I said surprisingly.
Napatingin naman samin si kuya Loel.
"Thirdy?" he also said.
"What happened Loel? Why is Bea all alone crossing the road?" naka-kunot na noong tanong nito saming dalawa.
Hindi ako naka-sagot dahil hindi ko nakita kung paano nga ba nakaalis si Bea kanina. Samantalang napayuko naman si Kuya Loel.
Saktong parating na rin yung dalawang nurse.
"You two, bring Bea inside the house." kuya Loel commanded at sumunod naman sila.
But before they could even bring Bea back to the house, I stopped them.
"Wait, Bea..." tsaka ako lumuhod ng bahagya para makita ang mukha niya.
"Are you okay?" I said concernly. But she just looked at me like she used to.
"Come on guys, bring Bea back to the house." kuya Loel said once again at tsaka tuluyan na ngang dinala ng mga nurse si Bea pabalik sa bahay ng tulala.
"Thirdy, thank you for saving Bea." kuya Loel approached Thirdy and helped him to get up.
"No worries. But Loel, may I ask? What is Bea doing in the middle of the road alone?" madiin na tanong ni Thirdy.
Hindi naman nakasagot si Kuya Loel agad. "Get inside the house muna Thirds. We'll talk there." he said tsaka nauna nang bumalik sa bahay.
Samantalang ako naman at si Thirdy ay nakatingin lang sa kanya na papalayo na.
"A-ah, Thirdy. Let's go? Gamutin muna natin yang mga galos mo." I said then he looked at his elbows that are wounded.
He just nodded at sabay na kaming naglakad papunta sa bahay ng mga De Leon.
"WHAT THE FVCK WAS THAT ALL ABOUT BEATRIZ?!"
Bigla naman kaming napa-atras ni Thirdy sa narinig namin.
It was kuya Loel talking to Bea. Or should I say, 'shouting' at Bea.
"Do you really want to die?!" he added but Bea, being Bea, just stared at him.
"Bea ano bang ginagawa mo sa buhay mo?! Tell me, gusto mo na ba talagang mamatay?!--"
"YES!!!! GUSTO KO NANG MAMATAY!"
"Bea--" I was about to go near them but Thirdy held my arm.
"Jho, wag muna." he said but his eyes are still looking at the two.
Napa-atras naman ako at medyo kumalma.
"Bea don't do this to yourself. Don't do this to us. Can you just stop thinking about killing yourself?! You were given a second chance to live your lif--"
"But Jia wasn't!!!"
Natigilan kaming lahat sa sinabi ni Bea.
Jia again...
