"Good morning Beatriz!"

I greeted her with a wide smile in my face. Yung tipong tatalunin ko pa si Joker sa sobrang pag-ngiti ko.

Bakit?

Edi para maasar tong si Bea sa akin at tuluyan na niya akong sipain palabas ng bahay nila. Pero syempre joke lang yun. 😂

I promised last night that starting today, I will do everything for Bea to interact with me. At kung ayaw niya? Aba dadaanin ko na sa pwersahan noh.

"What are you doing here?" madiin ang bawat salita niyang sabi tsaka inayos ang higa niya sa kama.

"To check you?" I innocently asked.

"Nang ganito kaaga?" mataray niyang tanong.

Pasimple ko namang tinignan ang oras sa phone ko and to my surprise, oo sobrang aga pa pala. 5:21 in the morning.

I had a mental face palm and scold myself mentally dahil bakit hindi ko man lang naisipang tignan ang oras bago ako matapang na pumasok sa hell room na to?!

Pero dahil ayaw kong mapahiya, sige Jho, labanan mo yang kasungitan ni Bea.

"Oo bakit? Hindi ba pwedeng we'll start your exercises early? Tsaka back when I was in college we always do early morning trainings. Usually, 4 am, we are already in the gym for trainings. For us to have a good condition. I bet you know that. At pwede naman nating i-apply yun sayo and sa condition mo right now diba? Especially at may hinahabol tayong deadline before your surgery."

Oh diba, di nakasagot ang ate niyo.

"Tsk. Get out of my room, I'll take more sleep." she crawled her body towards my opposite direction so she is not facing me now.

"No Bea, you have to get up now. Your operation is scheduled on the 30th. At October seven na ngayon. You have to be prepared before it comes." I explained to her.

But I haven't heard any response from her.

"Hoy Bea! Ano ba?! Di ka ba babangon diyan ha?"

Aba ayaw sumagot ng de Leon na to ha!

"Bea you have to get up. Time is running. You have to be healthy before your surgery." nilapitan ko na siya sa kama niya at bahagyang niyugyog ang balikat niya.

"Isa Beatriz ha!" I said with a threatening voice.

Pero hindi man lang ito kumibo.

"Ahh... Ayaw mo ha? Sige, mamaya na yung exercise mo. Maybe it's better if you eat your breakfast first." I went away from her to call someone.

"Kuya Loel! Yung breakfast po ni Bea, ready na ba?" I shouted outside Bea's room to kuya Loel who is in the kitchen.

"Ah yes Jho, I'll bring it there." he responded and a little later, he was already there holding a tray full of Bea's required and selected meal.

"Thanks kuya." I said tsaka ko siya hinayaang dalhin kay Bea ang pagkain niya.

"Bea, here's your breakfast. Now, get up and eat this. Para naman hindi ka gutom bago tayo pumasyal sa park."

Pero hindi ito kimibo o gumalaw man lang sa kinahihigaan niya.

"Hoy Bea!" kinalabit ko na ang braso niya pero mas lalo lang niyang isiniksik sa unan ang mukha niya.

"Pffftt..." I heard a little smirk from kuya Loel kaya I gave him a death glare so he tried to prevent himself from laughing.

Aba matigas ka Beatriz ha!

"Beatriz ano ba?! Babangon ka ba diyan o ako pa ang magbabangon sayo?!" again, no response.

"Aba talaga ha..." I said in an impatient tone tsaka siya nilapitan.
