"Jho?"
Bigla akong mapamulat ng tuluyan ng marinig ko ang boses na iyon sa kabilang linya.
At dahil video call yon, alam kong kitang-kita ngayon sa screen ang pagmumukha kong bagong gising.
Napabangon na lang ako at agad na naghilamos ng mukha bago bumalik sa higaan at harapin ang tumawag.
"K-kuya Loel? Kumusta? Is there any problem? May nangyari po ba kay Bea?" I asked him.
Baka may nangyari na namang hindi maganda kay Bea. Two weeks na lang, ooperahan na siya.
"There's no problem naman, Jho. We just contacted you so that we can have an update about your dad's condition. Kumusta na siya? Is he awake now?"
Napahinga naman ako ng maluwag at dahan-dahang umiling.
"Hindi pa siya nagigising kuya. It's been four days now. And I am starting to worry more. Kasi ngayon lang nangyari to."
He just nodded and I saw in his eyes the sympathy. "Ganon ba? I'm sorry to hear about that." he sadly said.
"Wala yun, kuya. It's fine. Anyway, how's Bea? Is she doing good?" I asked him. Almost two days ko na ring hindi nakikita si Bea. Though kuya Loel always updates me about Bea's routine and preparation, it's still better if ako mismo ang makakita kay Bea.
Miss mo na noh???

"She's doing great, Jho. Very responsive siya sa mga exercises na pinapagawa sa kanya sa hospital. And believe me or not, she likes to eat spinach now." he laughingly said and I can't help but to smile.
The old Bea de Leon is starting to get real eh?
"Look at her ohh." he changed the front cam to back cam and I saw Bea eating.
Susubo na sana siya ng pagkain when I shouted from the other line.
"Hi Bea!" I smiled at her.
"Hey." she said with a very, very light smile on her face.
Di ka na-miss, Jho. Paano ba yan?

"Ah... I-I'm doing good. I am starting to take my meds. And I can feel naman that there's an improvement. Though my legs still hurt. But it just seldom hurt now."
"Oh, kayo muna ang mag-usap diyan ha? I'm going upstairs. Bye Jho! Talk to you some other time!" pagpapaalam ni kuya Loel.
"Bye kuya! Thanks!!" / "Kuyaaaa!!"
Sabay naming sabi ni Bea. And that left us speechless. Dalawa na lang kami. And we never exprienced talking to each other through video call.

"Ahem... So, ahm... How's your dad? Is he fine now?" she said as careful as she can. Maybe to avoid for me to worry more about my papa.
I smiled at her and shook my head at the same time.
"Hindi pa siya gising eh. It's been four days. And I am afraid he may not wake up any--"
"He will wake up." she straightly said kaya napatingin ako ng diretso sa kanya.
"He's your dad. Kung gaano ka kapursigidong tulungan akong makalakad ulit, I'm pretty sure he's also eager to wake up. Magigising siya para sa inyo. Magigising siya para sayo kasi kailangan mo pang bumalik dito and help me walk again."
