"Are you really sure about her?"

I nodded.

"Yes, Ju. Gusto ko siya. Gustong-gusto ko si Kianna. There's nothing wrong naman if I get into a relationship with a La Sallian right?"

She chuckled.

"Bei, the Ateneo-La Salle rivalry is just for sports. Not for relationships. It's fine if you'll pursue Kianna. As long as you're happy with her, I'll be happy for you. Alam mo namang all I want is for you to be happy, diba?"

I smiled. My bestfriend is always supportive. Bakit ba ako nagdalawang-isip na hindi niya ako susuportahan pagdating kay Kianna??

I nodded. "Yeah. I know that. It's just... It's... It's a different feeling. It's my first time to feel like this, Ju. After all the flings, the set-ups, even the eyeballs I attended to, I never felt this way." I shyly told her.

"Only in Kianna?" she asked me while she is smiling teasingly.

I blushed.

"Only in Kianna."

"Then, what are you waiting for? Go and pursue her. I think she likes you too." she nudged my shoulder so I looked at her.

"You think so?" I asked with my face looking so constipated.

"I just don't think so. I know so." she winked at me and that's the time I felt relax and confident.

"Right. I'm going to ask her out. Then I'm going to tell her, I really like her. More than anyone else." I said determinely.

"More than anyone else talaga? Paano naman ako niyan?"

Jia pouted so I chuckled.

"Ew, Ju. Don't make that duck face on me. That's funny but that doesn't work. Okay?"

She pouted even more kaya napahampas na lang ako sa noo ko.

"Okay, you're my bestfriend Julia Morado. I like you ever since we're kids. You're not counted to that 'anybody else' okay?" I messed up her hair which she really hates.

"Tumigil ka nga!" she swatted my hand.

"I just want what's the best for you. I just want you to deserve someone who makes you feel well-deserved. And I guess, Kianna is a good catch. If you pursue her and then maging kayo, don't you dare do anything stupid, okay? Wag mo siyang sasaktan. Pero kung siya naman ang mananakit sayo, aba, ibang usapan na yun. Ako ang una niyang makakalaban." she said with a threat on her tone.

I just laughed and shook my head.

My bestfriend's so protective. Wish I could keep her forever.
